i am going to say it loud and clear, KU fans are the biggest bunch of jerks out there...obviously not all of them but a vast majority.... 2 years ago when KU beat NU as my wife and I walked out of the stadium we were baraged with insults. My wife was called a " f'ing whore " we were told we were all " mother f'ers and should go stick corncobs up our asses"......this was after a win mind you. Yesterday during the game for me was not as bad...most likely because there was not really a doubt that KU would win...but for my best friends family that was there this is not the case.... as they walked out another exit from where we were, a drunk KU fan ran up to his 14 year old nephew and pushed him and called him a mother fu&*#r....his father started to obviously do something about it, but this kids 76 year old grandfather stepped in the middle to keep the peace and was greated with a punch/push to his chest with enough force to knock him down...luckily/unfortuanately just then the police showed up before my friends 6'4" 350lb brother in law really beat the hell out of someone.... my friends father in law in the end didnt press charges and just wanted to leave.... this is just one example of how these fans act....again not all of them but many.... I must say also i noticed in their stadium, security was very lacking....

nebraska's D is just that bad....KU could have put up 100 easily yesterday....after seeing them in person yesterday i was just speachless....i am not sure how NU got athletes that are that bad and heartless..... As for the question i think MU's offense is too good the for the KU defense...as long as Mizzou's D holds up some MU will win the game....

I may be there but all i hope is that NU can pull off this upset....i live in KC and i am so tired of hearing about KU football...i admit they have a great team this year but it has been 98 years since they have had one like this and they think they can talk so much crap.....but i am alittle afraid to goto KU after 2 years ago, i have never been called so many names and i wont tell you when my wife said she was called and this was after a victory....KU has very poor winning fans.....

i am not an expert but i think Ganz getting the start now may be a positive....with the offense that BC has been running we dont need a big arm kid to throw down field...also the way the offensive line has been playing, joe can get out of the way and possibly get a 2 yd gain instead of a 15 yd sack.... the bottom line is that i dont think it really matters who is behind center. Since we dont normally throw over 4 yrds anyone will do.....and if i D cant stop anyone (last week though they did do well)....the scores will be overwhelming.

i have to jump on the fire them now band wagon.....i know there are a lot problems with letting the staff go now the first being who would take over but if we get rid of them now could we move forward and line someone up for next year...even if it is bo who couldnt take over right now, atleast kids would know who is coming and have a general idea who he is looking at as a staff...we are loosing many recruits right now because of the uncertainty when really there isnt any uncertainty.... Billy C is out and there is no doubt about that just who is coming next??? we need to get moving to try and save the kids we want and to start on kids that are out there that may want to play for whoever we choose..... we just simply need to get sh*t moving and stop the politics....

i think the coaches have quit on the team simply because they are either to lazy or arrogant to make adjustments....Even J. Rose on the radio was all but calling Cosgrove a F*cking idiot for not changing from his base defense to a 8 man front to stop that option...who the hell doesnt do that??? some one who doesnt care would be my guess....the same goes for BC...not trying to get back into games and being creative, not using our amazing kicker...all kinds of things....if you have ever coached a team you can tell the coaches that spend time on the game plan and also those who are willing to try anything to win... i also was a BC supporter until about 3 weeks ago, he is not making the effort to right this ship so sink his ass!!!!

i would have to agree....i am not sure you can go completely in the opposite direction of this offense but i think it needs to be more imaginative....why not mix in more spread looks and run an option off it or something....missouri does it all the time....do we have a QB coming in that is atheletic enough to run?

i was talking with a guy at my kids flag football game this morning...turns out he is great friends with fran...he was telling me that today's game is important for fran, not only to keep his job for next week but also to look good for nebraska.....i asked him if he has spoken to nebraska...this guy told me that he was approached by an NU alumni about interest in the NU job.....Now i doubt this is anything more than an alumni just asking around on his own but it is interesting....i dont think it is a good option for us but i would say fran likes the running game and would embrase the walk on program...

what kind of relationship did TO have with Bo that one year he was here...Was TO around him much..did frank ask TO's opinion about him? how does TO feel about Bo's temper that flares up occationally? I personally like the fire and chewing ass but TO is pretty reserved

i hope this is true but i hope they do look around some....pelini may be a good choice but i think someone like zook or another good recruiter would be a good choice....what type of connections does pelini have out there for recruiting??? who would he bring in??

i was just thinking about alvaraz as the AD...he has experience in a large program and also is a nebraska person

well baytownhusker you will be like all the other KU football fans then, root for them when they play well, forget about them when they dont.... i have nothing agaist rooting for big 12 teams especially north but specifically rooting for KU because they are winning is weak and like most other fans in the nation....

well didnt Beck help us get recruits and look how that turned out...hell the kid had a blog...

i am a teacher in kansas city, ks so i have taken alot of crap from my students because of this nebraska team and i will admit i am embarrassed, ashamed, hurt, sad, etc.... because of them BUT like i tell the KU, KSUCKS, Mizzou kids that i have, the difference between a nebraska fan and any of those is i will still be there next week...we have had over 45 years of sell outs and if someone asked me today if i wanted to goto the game in lincoln next week i would be there...when we were 5-100 or whatever a few years ago i went to many games (since the tickets were cheap)..... we need to remember, no matter how bad we get, no matter how much we hate the coach and AD, no matter whatever the problem, the difference between nebraska fans is that we are educated in football and we are loyal to our team..... All i am saying is no matter what, we as fans need to support the players and still wear our red husker jersey in the middle of a bar when the KU-KSU game is going on (like i did this saturday) and we need to represent NU football as the great traditional team it is. it may suck right now but it will get better and no matter what we need to be there for it!!!!!! As i tell my students, Husker football is not a sport, it is a religion for us Just keep this in mind...

i agree, it sucks...it is to slow and too predictable....we need to go back to a running game.....i just dont believe the option is not a viable offense for a team....if you could run that with a spread offense as well that would be hard to predict....i see lots of teams out there that have QBs that run a offense that throws and runs both... we just need something that is faster and more aggresive
