  1. Yeah, but she's still blazing hot. Yeah after that bomb of an answer she still finished 3rd so she must've done really well in other areas.
  2. Ok but SC also got to Nebraska's 1 and didn't score anything. So what? And it was 16-13 at the half and for a long time in the 2nd half, when was Nebraska in obvious passing situations. Did Nebraska even score after the 1st QT?
  3. They are loaded on Vodka and Cocktaine Well I was talking about here but you could fill New Jersey with the amount of trash that was talked on both sites. I thought New Jersey was already full of trash? I don't think they could fit anymore as america's trash hole. She may be from SC but she didn't go here. She went to App St. which requires a 2.0 GPA to get into.
  4. Lets put it this way.. I don't think its something Spurrier is going to go into the game thinking or wanting to avenge.. but if we get in position to run up the score on NU (very unlikely but on the off chance that it happens) I think Spurrier will make sure to do it. Wouldn't be surprised that if such a thing were to take place that he doesn't throw in a little post-game quip referencing that game.
  5. Well, there are different degrees of ncaa infractions. It’s not a digital function—ON or OFF. “1” or “0”. You could say there’s “cheating”, “Cheating” and then “CHEATING”. NU’s textbook deal was minor. But sure. I guess you could characterize it as “cheating.” South Carolina, not so minor. In fact, multiple Major NCAA Infractions. By a repeat offender. Which is CHEATING. By a big fat-walleted booster CHEATERS. So Nebraska committed NCAA infractions? CHEATERS CHEATERS CHEATERS! According to the NCAA website NU provided almost $28,000 worth of texts book over a 3 year period. CHEATERS CHEATERS!
  6. I don't think it was just NU fans excusing it because it was a nerdy violation. It was pretty much a joke in the whole national sports media. You understand what the violation was about, right? We gave athletes not just the textbooks required for their courses, but--Heaven forbid--also the textbooks on the professors' suggested reading lists. THE SUGGESTED READING LIST! Truly a college football outrage. Of, dare I say, SEC proportions! Here's a snippet from a Rivals article about it: You can't seriously compare NU-Texbookgate with the MAJOR NCAA VIOLATIONS that your cheating fat-wallet boosters are accused of. Can you? Seriously?? I'm sorry, so was Nebraska CHEATING or not?
  7. You've posted this several times.....SAM has been around for a few years, and have sent a lot of prep prospects for several athletic fields to many top programs across the nation. As far as what I've read or heard, Byrd was the first associated from that organization for football to actually come to USC. While no one can argue that HOW Byrd's process through SAM to USC was not handled properly (it's still very disappointing to me as his father held a high administrative position in the foundation: his family was not a poor family, and Damiere did not NEED financial assistance - proper or otherwise - to help with his recruiting trips, like perhaps Sharif Floyd and others might have needed. It was all very unnecessary, IMO), to say SAM was "filtering" top players and sending them to South Carolina is based on absolutely nothing factual that you have read, heard, or seen..... Here you go: The quotes above are from gogamecocks. So we can't be sure how factual they are. But is sure sounds like these two alumni--the president and the treasurer of SAM--were filtering out the best athletes and sending them to their alma mater. And that's called CHEATING. Oh please, get off your holier than thou corn husk your on and note that NU itself was caught CHEATING earlier this year too. And you guys "excuse" it by saying because its text books and "nerdy" than its ok? Alabama got in trouble for a similar thing a couple of years ago. They even had some wins vacated because of it, more or less that was because of their reputation. As for you Clempson Tigger look in a mirror. As recently as July of this year Clempson reported 12 of its own violations. A lot were minor, BS NCAA stuff, but a lot of sounds about the same level as the Whitney thing. http://www.wltx.com/...dary-Violations And lets not forget Clemmons "National Title" team that had over 150 violations against it.
  8. Meh, The 1st charge didn't even help us again any on-field advantage. Was kids already playing for us getting some discount at a hotel. Didn't help recruiting or anything. So its like we cheated during a season that we went 7-6 in apparently. The other one is slightly more confusing because of an organization, that the NCAA knew existed, was created to help the poorer area kids get recognized by schools and try to find them offers somewhere. Problem is since 2 of the operators are SC alumni.. when 1 of the organization's kids comes here it looks bad. Because of it that particular commit couldn't play for the 1st 4 games or so this season. Either way, I'm hoping compared to what benefits and crap that have been shown at OSU and UNC and with the NCAA with its hands full they'll just accept these self-imposed penalties and move on.
  9. I know NU fans are referencing last year's bowl apathy vs Washington, but SC has had the same problems. The last 3 years we haven't even bothered to show up. Spurrier says this year will be different but his whole career he really doesn't have a stellar bowl record 6-6 before coming here, 1-4 while here. eta: What I'm saying is I'm excited for this game and I think we can win but I don't think its as sure as thing as a lot of NU fans seem to think it is.
  10. Anyone who thinks ESPN would favor SC because their in the SEC is kidding themselves, especially against a traditional power in Nebraska. Hell as soon as Lattimore went down May said Clempson was going to crush us, and McShay said out of our last 5 games without Lattimore that he saw us having a losing record (we went 4-1)
  11. Nice to see you've made it over to the Husker board as well CNB. Honestly we are on the same time as UF vs Ohio St. Despite being 6-6 each and SC and Nebraska scoring W's over both of them earlier in the year the big names will attract a lot of attention. Luckily Nebraska is a pretty big football name, as is Spurrier. Not to mention the Capital One Bowl name itself will attract attention. I was surprised when ESPN did their bowl selection show that we were the 1st one up. As it should be considering it is the highest bowl not in the BCS (though I think the Cotton could be argued for), but it'll be nice to get some big time coverage. People still refuse to think we can't do anything Lattimoreless.
  12. Like I said, anytime there a chance to talk about Clempson, I'll take it. Doesn't require being riled up.
  13. Ding ding ding! And round #2 begins... Just responding to a request... The only reason why Clempson fans would say college baseball is irrelevant is when they're playing sh#t / getting their ass beat by the Gamecocks (especially over the last 5 years) If they beat us in baseball suddenly its a big deal. Same thing can be said for basketball. Talking crap about the East will get us riled up, but not from a Clemzen fan because it doesn't matter how weak the East is over the last couple of years because after mowing Clemmons ass over during these East-down years only proves that even a downed SEC-E is still far superior of their ACC (FYI this year the #2 team in the Tiggers division, Wake Forest, got their ass beat by Vandy 41-7 I believe was the final) Sorry urange and purple but your Tallest Midget Award for winning the ACC carries no water in the SEC. Your school is and will remain an SEC-wannabe. Wow. I hit that one on the head. I don't need to be baited. I hate Clemson, and you hate South Carolina. Thats how rivalries work. You could've just asked for me to talk sh#t about Clemson and I would've done it in a heartbeat.

  15. If Nebraska has a bad as time with running QBs as seems to be indicated by Husker fans than Shaw might have a pretty good day. Clemson had the same problem and Shaw tore them apart on the ground, and had a pretty decent day in the air too. SC, regardless of coach but especially under Spurrier, has not shown up in bowl games. 1-4 under Spurrier, 4-12 all-time. Under Spurrier we've had 1 loss to Mizzou that we had a big halftime lead and didn't show up in the 2nd half, Liberty Bowl win over a Kevin Cobb lead Houston team, a no-show against Iowa, a no-show against UConn, and a hungover QB vs FSU. Luckily Shaw is one of those guys who just loves everything about football from what I hear. Doesn't consider it a burden to have to go study film and practice etc. He seems to learn and grow from his mistakes, something Garcia did not do. So hopefully a different Gamecock team will show up. Especially since this team wants to have the most wins in a season in Gamecock history.
  16. I am not abig fan of their unis. Maroon is an ugly color IMO and the SEC has 4 soon to 5 teams that are maroon or very similar to - SCar, Miss St. Ark, Ala and now A&M. My favorite SEC unis are LSU and Auburn's all white. Try and go to an SEC board and see what happens when you say we all share the same color. Haha but they are similar but when any of the 2 teams play each other you can see the slight shade differences. We used to wear black more frequently but not so much anymore, anytime we've tried under Spurrier over the last couple of years we've had some bad losses. As for this thread I think both will travel well. I've noticed a lot of Big 10 fan bases travel well. They enjoy their football up there just like the South does. Plus I figure it gives them a chance to hang out in FL for a few days in the winter rather than being up in whatever state they're from that I'm sure is cold as hell. Plus Nebraska fans have a reputation of traveling well and so do SC fans. I think it will be a sell out no doubt.
  17. Whatever you do just please do know try to insult us or make some "penis joke" because I guarantee you we've heard them all and half the time we're the ones that use them. Any opponent that we rarely face or face for the 1st time decides to use it thinking they're original will only get an eye roll and a face palm.
  18. Yes our special teams is lackluster at best. Specifically coverage, even more specifically kick off coverage. Actually kicking FGs we've been pretty decent and we almost never get a chance to return a punt but Ace Sanders has been good at catching the ball all year with opponents all around him waiting for a fumble, our kick return isn't bad, rarely get hit behind the 20 and have the guys back there that are capable of reaching past the 40. Our main issue is punting and kick offs. Our kicker can hardly get it past the 10, thus if the opponent ran straight they'd probably get good field position, however the opponent rarely runs straight and after a few moves generally ends at about the 35 or further. This has lead to us having to pooch it up in the air to prevent the opponent from breaking one but again, that still gives them good field position. As for our punting, the coverage isn't bad but the punter rarely has the leg to give us a good punt. So SC finds itself on the bad deal of the field position battle when it comes to special teams.
  19. I'll be headed down to Orlando and I can't stress enough how excited I am, as is the rest of the Gamecock nation. I know Nebraska has a considerable amount of more football success that we do, but SC is going for their highest win total in history in a single season. Not to mention we've gotten 9 wins in our last 9 games vs UGA, UF, UT, and Clempson. Including an 11-1 record vs the East and 5-0 this season. I hope this is the 1st step to some more legitimate success. Anyway I've heard nothing but good things about the Nebraska faithful, both in their traveling numbers and the respect their fan base shows. I'm excited about this match-up. Ran into a few Husker fans in Jacksonville a couple of years ago on my way down to Tampa for the Outback bowl, I was sure to all wish them luck in their win vs Clemzen and sure enough they were happy to oblige.
