  1. Anton Gill just lol'd Gill won't be what you hope...Shields is better...way better. Gill is a better shooter, a much better shooter. The only thing we'll miss with Shields is his leadership, but White and Webster step up and be leaders next year. Overall we'll be a better team without Shields (and especially Parker).
  2. You talking about this guy? http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/life-in-the-red/keep-eye-on-louisville-hoops-center/article_0c6d6474-e24d-11e5-aac6-c713aa0d7bc1.html I'd vote in favor.
  3. Article didn't sound good, at all. Except the part where he says that he "feels like Nebraska is my second home," and he always a great time when his friends and family visit Nebraska, everybody loves it, and when he mentions that Keyshawn and Gebbia may end up here, also that Marquel Dismuke is his best friend and if he's here he's going to take a long look at Nebraska. But yeah besides that, it didn't sound good at all.

  5. Not exactly "local", Bettendorf is as far east in Iowa as you can go. That's what the quotes are for.

  7. Missing on a couple key prospects late, is for from "whiffing on everyone" in the area, and those two kids from Kansas are probably going to Clemson whether it was Pelini or Riley in charge..... Both Fant and Bubak were coming to NU until this staff messed it up. You seemed to miss out on them in your mentions. So no biggie we let the best two kids leave because we wouldn't call them back. That's a cool thought, except it's not even close to the truth. Don't let those pesky facts get in your way of spewing BS. From the OWH:
  8. Hmmm will Key Jr. help recruit this one, or this one, Either way these are the types that Nebraska needs to recruit in order to turn the corner.
  9. Fire Riley and the staff right now!!!!! NOT GETTING IT DONE!!!!! losers!!!!!
  10. No, no they won't. They'll continue to be Ohio St and Michigan St.'s little brother, and Harbaugh will get sick of it in about 2 years and run back to the NFL.
  11. I think I have heard multiple previous accounts mention this guy...its you isn't it? Anyone else remember this???I. Didn't the last guy go by FLU or FLO or something like that? And then The Nebraskan Assassin I believe...
  12. Wow we really need to be making coaching changes, we should be getting every highly ranked recruit in the 500 mile radius. I don't care if they're dad, mom, entire family went to a certain school; we're Nebraska, we're special, these type of players should all be Huskers.
  13. I agree that a year down the road there will be a lot of spots. But I doubt that a year down the road is his idea of early playing time. With his skill set, if he's actually what he's been made out to be, he's a starter at WR in year 2. I'd say that's early enough if that's what he's willing to do. Alston, Pierson-El, and even Morgan are very different types of WR than Isaiah. I'd say the best comparison we have on the roster now is Alonzo. Bigger with good speed to burn you. That may be early enough for some - meaning us. I just doubt that's what guys talk about when they talk early playing time. I'm not saying we don't get him. Just making an observation. Nah just you being negative on Nebraska's chances of getting a recruit again. Pretty much been that way since Riley took over. It's been pretty obvious you were a Boliever. Went from being super positive about every recruit when Blo and Co. were here, to being the opposite since.
  14. Do a majority of Canes fans realize Coach Richt is Nebraska-born...and if so, how do they feel about that? Also, he brings a bible-belt mentality to his coaching, will that matter in Coral Gables? Richt went to school at Miami lol
  15. If they can't flip Fant, I'd really like to see the staff offer David Engelhaupt from Norfolk Catholic, who's currently committed to Wyoming, as a TE or ATH. Hell of an athlete, 6'4" 235 lbs and runs a 4.5. If anyone watched him in the state championship or any other time this season, he was very impressive playing FB/RB and LB. He seems like one of those Nebraska kids who we'd regret that he got away.
  16. Uhhhh.... rel·a·tiv·i·ty ˌreləˈtivədē/ noun 1. the absence of standards of absolute and universal application. "moral relativity" 2. Physics the dependence of various physical phenomena on relative motion of the observer and the observed objects, especially regarding the nature and behavior of light, space, time, and gravity.
  17. Look for the Iowa game to be heavy on JUCO's visiting. Should be another good weekend for visits overall, especially after the coaches go out on the road this next week.
