  1. Rough estimate of Husker fans at this game? Hope it's close to that 2010 UW turnout, that was awesome.
  2. From the Rivals write up "I don't know if I'm like shutting everything down, I'll talk to (coaches), but I'm definitely going to be a Husker," Jurgens said. "It would be just down-right weird not to be a Husker and play for someone else. Besides, I don't think my dad would even allow it. I'm just excited to be a Husker." Haha that is great.
  3. I love it, as long as he pushes himself and takes over at that starter role or pushes his competition to be better themselves. I hope that anger carries over in practice. Also makes the OL he goes up against in practice better too.
  4. Over analyzing, but he did call out only GBR and isn't seeking other programs to back him. So we have that going for us
  5. Do you go bare chested/belly underneath the jersey? Wow.Haha, man you sound a little too tight buttholeYou must have abs of steel. Do you do 8 minute abs?Is that your opening line on grindr? Prolly doesn't work as well here. Can you give me a suggestion for my opening line on grindr? I am sure you get a ton of "swipe rights".naw man, the training wheels are off, you seem to have it all figured out.

  7. I'll be wearing my jersey at the Miami game. A breathable mesh material will be a little more bearable than a sweat drenched cotton tee. Plus, some goon broke into my buddys car last September in SD and stole my bag with my Nebraska dry fit polo, which I still need to replace.
  8. Yep - I have confirmed it with the AD office. Full bar. Get tickets to the LIV section for an extra good time...I'm told!!!Coca-yee-nah and strippers?
  9. If it were a Nike jersey, it would then be acceptable.
  10. I didn't know Darlington was that adamant about #2, it must be a personal thing. Stevenson is just going to have to wait his turn to be able to take his #2. I just hope teammates can put this past them and work out, as they'll be running the twos together. A #2 shouldn't get in the way of friendship or at least winning. It would be a shame if a 2 got in the way of us getting over the hump.
  11. Can't players swap jerseys? Hasn't that happened in the past? I thought I recall some team switching up their backup QB to the long snapper number and ran a fake of some sort. I wanna say it was a powerhouse over a muck team.
  12. Yeah, I read the quote before listening to the interview. It appears not a lot has changed. Still committed "100%" but wants to check out Oregon. Depending on how they use Tommy will be huge. One aspect not brought up that should be considered, I know Langsdorf is considered a hot commodity to move into a HC position, but Frost is closer to making that move to HC and leaving Oregon. How much does he take that into account could be to our advantage.
  13. Sometime between 5:15-530 is when he is supposed to be on.
  14. Who?That RB commit last class that wavered and recommitted a couple times and then committed to Tennessee after reaffirming his commitment days before, then ultimately signed when aTm. Sarcasm doesn't work well in writing, does it?Not when I'm playing the sarcasm card myself haha
  15. That sucks. Crowd will be pretty non existent for the Jags game. Autzen is always loud. Any chance this hurts us? Sucks he's missing the wiscy game but more potential for crappy PNW weather, WAZZU is awful and would be an unimpressive win or a wtf close game.
  16. Doesn't NU have a number of important OVs that weekend (South Alabama) as opposed to Wiscy?

  18. It was Bishop and Peterson on USC. And he even said iPhone 8, something else that's never come out yet.
  19. Depends on the high school's schedule. If they have 8-9 classes a day for 40-50 minutes each, one year is the whole school year. If they have a block schedule (4 classes for 90 minutes each) one semester counts as one year.We had 54 minute classes 5 days a week. Just took my two to graduate HS, no major at my university required more foreign language, unless you were getting some degree in it.
  20. Good interview on Unsportsmanlike Conduct just now. If his game is as good as he speaks, look out defenders, he gonna make ya look silly.
  21. Gotta disagree with how you said that. Bo knows defense. Bo knows a lot about defense. Coaching is teaching. If Bo couldn't teach his players, then Bo doesn't know how to coach defense. I think you're actually confusing the two. Coaching is teaching others, it doesn't matter what you know if you can't get your players to execute it. Now the way I've always seen it, Bo had some early success here in 2003 and his first couple years as a HC and I've always kind of had a theory as to why. Now, Ndamukong Suh would be the easy answer for some of that early defensive success as a HC, but thats only part of it. I think Bo's early success can be attributed purely to K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid. In 2003 Bo knew he didn't have a lot of time to teach all the philosophies, aspects, in and out's of his complicated defensive scheme, so he stuck to the basics. He got the kids on the same page quickly with some of the more simple aspects of his scheme and it worked. It paid off huge. Tons of turnovers in that 2003 year. Much the same in 2009-2010, I think the team was still executing some of the simpler aspects, like I said Suh helped a lot, but it didn't seem like the defense was as confused and we didn't hear about lack of execution after each game as much. The further we went and the more he threw at them, the more problems it created. You lose an elite, maybe one of the best of all time talents at DT, you throw the book at the guys on defense because over time you expect them to be able to do more and more. I think it became too much and execution fell. Simply, we got "too cute" and too complex. Bo had these grand theories of how it "should" be, but couldn't coach his guys to put it on the field. Just a theory of mine, I could be way off though. I understand where you're coming from, but I feel like you're mincing my words. He knows his stuff and some people like to bash him or mock him for being penned as a "defensive genius." It's not as if he forgot how to attack an offense, he lacked relating his ideas to his players and implementing his schemes. Those that understood the defense did thrive, those that didn't were continuously out of position and made the whole team look bad. It also doesn't help when he has players lacking discipline within the scheme or even adjusting to keys and communicating with teammates i.e. his blowup on Daniel Davie for not making a simple crack back call, instead following the WR into the LB, abandoning the flat and allowing Gordon to streak down the sideline untouched before Gerry ran him down...30-40 yards later. As a corner, that should be one of the most basic calls to make.
