Wiscy game this past year. My brother and I got into it when we were only down two scores, I left his house midway through the 3rd, the roads were crappy and took longer to get home and by the time I turned it on the score was like 44-whatever and we turned the ball over again. That was the first game I've turned off. So disgusted.

I guess you aren't aware that Ohio State.....yes, the national champions......use it already.Really? They clap once and snap the ball every time? I highly recommend Mark Banker take notice. I could be wrong, but I think they use the clap to alert the center that the QB is ready for the ball (like the QB lifting his leg) and the center snaps it when he is ready. Not snapping the ball once he hears the clap.I wanna say TMart started the clap after the Ohio State comeback game, after seeing Braxton do it.

Is there point here or do you just like trolling our board? I didn't troll this board, I called out some unsubstantiated false accusations made about this player's and USC's character. I posted this b/c people for the past 12 hours were assuming things on why he chose USC and here was an article with quotes directly from him. Also to point out the things I said early on were factual i.e. he never visited USC. His quote from that article was that basically he chose USC b/c he felt the coaches were genuine and there was a shot at early playing time. We only have 1 SDE on the roster right now, so that's legit, we signed another this class though besides McClain. Still doesn't excuse your dickish behavior. Everyone knows his parents wanted him closer to home, so drop it already. How's it dickish? (that is rhetorical) Yesterday, I come to this site, I don't think we're getting him, but I wish him well and even said that I thought it was awful that after a team didn't get a recruit sometimes fans start saying awful things about him like, "he wasn't that good, he had bad grades, etc...." I came on here today, he committed to USC, and I see a bunch of garbage like, "USC cheats, USC pays players, this kid is a puss, etc...." So I call out the bullsh#t and point out people throwing stones in glass house issue or just making ups bullsh#t claims. I kinda wish this guy comes around again. Fun to read.

"It's actually really nice." The Nebraska Tourism Board is missing out if they don't adopt that as our new state motto. Nebraska, "Nice" is OK, but adding "actually really" nails it. If there was one PNW town I'd live in, it would probably be Bend, OR. That place has about every outdoorsy type of recreation within 20 miles.

Gary says it could be a "wow" hire and could end quickly, Benning says like 10 days. The name has been thrown out on the show before, but they didn't say the name today.

Just heard Sharp & Benning talk about a splash hire rumor that has legs, but wouldn't drop name, anybody know who they're talking about?

I see this and think, "why can't we have 10-11 wins next season?" Not to bash Riley or set him up for failure, I really like the hire and am all on board with him, but that is what my expectations are. Especially given the statement made by SE to replace Bo. With their coaching abilities, 1-2 more wins is achievable with the talent that is already in place. Hope we can see the light bulbs go on watch the program turn the corner.

Kendeigh ticked me off week leading to Wiscy game when he said its a battle of the big reds and winner should wear red the following year regardless of location. I know he doesn't cover day-to-day sports, but Randy York is by far my favorite sports writer. I soak up what he has to read, usually it's an article deeper than the play or the game and I've learned a lot of Husker history too. Most enjoyable author tied to Nebraska athletics.
