  1. Tyson said this in his interview today, "They only have 3-4 receivers at Nebraska and want to bring in five guys this year." We currently have 3 - KJJ, Javeon, Tyson - so we apparently want to fill two more slots. While we are in on Holmes and some other decent receivers, I'' sure we are hoping to get Lewis and JC. Yeah, that would be an amazing 5, as everyone has said. Did you mean to say Homes and not Holmes? Also, are any of these WRs versatile and can play the DB position (besides Lewis and Calvin of course)? Typing on an iPad. I noticed it typed Tyson instead of Tyjon and other wacky stuff. Disregard my typos lol

  3. I see that he holds three in-state offers. I haven't followed his recruiting... why hasn't he entertained Cal? Why aren't his parents pushing him there? It's not all about location, but if it is THIS big of a factor...
  4. Explained it quite well for everyone. I was purposely vague in the original post (also stated this in the clarification). Intended it to be thought provoking. It worked if everyone is replying. If your post was meant to be thought provoking, why are you in turn yelling at everyone for giving their thoughts? And if they're not giving the thoughts you want, how is your post successful?I'd like to hear his response to this.
  5. Honest question from a loser (when it comes to following recruiting)... Is there any reason to continue watching/following today if I don't care about schools not named Nebraska? Are we actually a possibility for anyone?
  6. There are some posters here who get crapped on, but I've never seen a blatant troll until now. This is obviously a bait thread.... which is why I'm responding I guess :/
  7. Perhaps, but disregarding the negative affects of a petition, it at least forces Eichorst from straight up lying. Anyone with a brain could tell he was lying about having 90% positive emails, but there was no way to factually call him out. This is something he can't lie about. He'll just ignore it... but still. Can you back your lying about his lying up?Really... you're really going with that? You think he's had 90% of his emails be positive this season? You think he's actually happy about how the season has gone at any point? If you can't realize those were nothing but public relations lines, I don't know what to tell you.

  9. If you don't like it here.... Seriously. Can he get a warning for all the bickering he's done about other posters and the team? It's pathetic.
  10. While that is the only realistic possibility, it's a bunch of crap. QB is one component of dozens upon dozens of a team, and literally none (I believe) are working right now. This has very little to do with QB, and thus there is very little PoB could ever do. Say what people want about giving coaches more than one year, but we really need to let Riley go. Pay three coaches if you can, this is unacceptable.
  11. This is the worst game I've ever seen us play.
  12. Why don't we discuss the potential new starters for next year, and also the potential bright spots? I know it's hard when we don't know for sure who all the coaches next year will be (surely Stewart and the special teams coach are gone at least, right?) and the philosophies, but still. If Jordan Stevenson stays, I think he could take over at running back. Not sure how well his speed/agility translates to the college game, but he looks the part. Nick Gates could be very impressive next year. How about the fresh CB's getting to play next year? Surely they can upset the current batch.
  13. I'm impressed by Tommy tonight, much better than last week. But I see an average player, regardless of his bulk numbers tonight.
  14. He's notyeah, there are so many things you take for granted that all qb's do... That he just doesn't. And I, a weak football mind, can even see this and am yelling inside. Please put in someone else, I'm not saying this out of knee jerk reaction, I'm saying this because he is not a QB.
  15. We need to scrap the screens entirely. They are there for the taking and we have the receivers for it, but Tommy literally cannot throw with touch.
  16. Offense: Tommy - Will have the most negative plays on the offense, but will have the most positive plays by a significant margin. 3TD, 2 INT, 300 passing yards. Imani - Will be the best back per carry. Defense: Nate - Will be counted upon, in this new system, to make a lot of tackles on Taysom in open space. If he isn't the defensive player of the game, it might be because Taysom breaks a lot of runs deep and we lose the game. Young - Again, BYU's running style on the outside and in the second level will put not only Gerry into position, but also Young to have a great (or bad, nowhere in between) game. We need him to come up big.
  17. There is so much wrong with what you just said. I read his post and, at that time, I was like "yeah, I can agree with what you just said, and it jives with everything I've learned secondhand of these situations, and your extensive personal background obviously gives you credibility." But then I read your post, with all your eloquent rebuttals and realized he is obviously wrong. Thanks for the enlightenment, bro.
  18. He was pretty invisible this year. It dumbfounded me how NFL tv scouts like Kiper Jr. think he's the third best player in the nation, yet Abdullah is barely top 5 running back. I'm. To hating, I wanted him to come back one more year to prove me wrong... I just don't think we'll miss him.
  19. Would much rather have Frost than Whittingham, and we could've easily had Frost. Definitely don't like this at all :/ Especially after the Tressel ride.
  20. HC: Tressel OC: Frost QB: Miller My gawd!
  21. Love Frost. And just like any other one of our guys, I would forgive him for a lot of stupid stuff he could do. Especially as a young adult. But "such a good guy" isn't what I would use if I'm going based off of what he did to LP back in the nineties. Not many people could do something so low. There may have been more stuff linked with Frost, but that is the only one I know of that is for sure true. Hooking up with a chick that isn't single...that has NEVER happened before or since then at UNL haha But of your teammate who, due to position, is one of your closest? Not saying he's a horrible sinnner. Just saying, knowing that and how the team supposedly hated him at first, "such a good guy" isn't what came to mind first. Mind you, I want Frost as our HC.
