  1. The whole QB room should be shown the door this off-season. None of them are the answer now or the future. satt should be walked out immediately after. Regardless of QBs losing the ball, you don’t call a pass play that is horizontal across a short field with a 3rd string qb who hasn’t played all year. Particularly when you just ran it with success, there is 3 mins left and you’re at home. the situational awareness of our QBs is a direct reflection of our OC and that’s in the gutter
  2. Someone from the husker media has to ask the simple question post game “what exactly was your thought process on the pass call at the end zone” Rhule needs to back up his mantra of ownership and credibility. His OC, the highest paid asst in the program history, has displayed zero of both
  3. can we find a OC or a qb with an IQ higher than 0
  4. Because other teams aren’t continually trotting out guys with low IQ and horrendous carrying mechanics. a lot of this is on sat- stop f’n calling reads and designed runs for sims. He clearly is not capable of executing the play or securing the ball
  5. Aye can someone please just take sims jersey and helmet away from him, what a clown
  6. Horrendous angle he took there, completely ignored using the sideline to his advantage
  7. It’s maddening, we’re clearly not winning on Hh arm. We go away from the run game too much and sub out RBs way too frequently
  8. I seem to be the only one displaying logic between you and me. You compelled me to look up how peacock games have been structured: I did and happened to find that the top teams you mentioned all played games of no consequence and meaning early in the season. Meanwhile we’re on here in November. Like I said, I’ll be tuning in tomorrow regardless. However, you should take off your rose colored glasses- this TV slot, amongst many other things, is just another confirmation of how irrelevant we’ve become the last decade. Really hope Rhule changes that so we can be on prime viewing and I don’t have to teach my elderly relatives via FaceTime how to watch our Huskers on peacock. but Hey, that’s ok, I’ll just assume you had no response to the facts I drop and again want to turn it personal by saying I lack logic. Great convo bud, really creating a fun atmosphere on here
  9. You’d think I run into at least a few on the way, I’m actually expecting an Eric crouch highlight video on vhs, a half eaten runza and a collection of bob devaney’s smoked cigar butts
  10. Will do! I’ll let ya know if I find any members here with common sense!
  11. You and I must be in the minority. Seems like a few on here are just fine being on a streaming service that is going under in the next few years when this is our most winnable game to secure bowl eligibility for the first time in 7 years. I long for the higher standards this fanbase once carried and expected, perhaps I'm asking too much
  12. Couple things now that I'm back home: great job selectively quoting and rearranging my posts to fit your narrative. Classy move, specially when I already had a laugh at the first guy calling me out for moving the goal posts which i already addressed (which you didn't bother to quote by choice). Anyways, I decided to do some research and here's what I found in 5 seconds regarding Michigan/penn state and ohio state: No. 2 Michigan: Sept. 2 vs. East Carolina (Noon ET) No. 3 Ohio State: To be scheduled*- This ended up being against Purdue, currently the worst team in the big ten. No. 7 Penn State: Sept. 9 vs. Delaware (Noon ET) So the top 3 in the teams in the league had their exclusive peacock games on sept 2 and 9th against scrub schools and the top progrum TBD to probably give them flexibility on picking an expected landslide, which oddly enough is exactly how it played out. But you're totally right, one of these years we're def gonna see a solid game featuring heavy weights with divison/conf/bowl implications on the line late in the season on a floundering streaming service in the morning
  13. It 1000% has to do with how crappy we’ve been. Sure, there’s probably some contractual obligation every team shows up on peacock at least once. ,I don’t have the time to go week by week but I’ll be shocked if Nov isn’t full of the crap teams and big ten picked the down teams the upper teams face for sept/October
  14. Your post is the epitome of what’s wrong with this board. It’s always a take the W or take an L, it’s great to see first hand that a fun discussion back and forth is no longer possible here. even more discouraging it’s from longtime members…
  15. i dunno what to tell u man, 11 am CST on peacock is the worst slot for the big ten. I was simply saying, i cant wait to be relevant again so we'll be on FS1 at worst down the stretch, that is all. Ill still tune in tomorrow but guarantee not every husker fan will if they dont have access
  16. lol Sorry, I'm on west coast and defaulted to my time, which is all i care about lol
  17. lol, touche. You gotta at least agree somewhat tho- if rhule gets us back to consisten 9-3/10-2 seasons we're back on fox/fs1/nbc guaranteed. I am firm believer big10 looked at the slate and deemed wisc/nw to be a better game to put on fs1 than us and I cant blame them
  18. Ohio state or any one of consequence isn't playing on Peacock at 9 am in November when all the big matchups occur and when divisions are decided.
  19. Wow. There must be some additional evidence clearly connecting Jim that we dont know about. Otherwise, this is a pretty bold move by the big ten to just give the middle finger to your most notable brand and one of the top sports programs across the board.
  20. Its called repercussions for our progrum being utter trash the past 10 years. Not only will being back in the top 25 get us back to bowl games, better players and games only at night/afternoon- it'll also help ensure we're not playing on a stream only service in the morning.
  21. With the amount of disarray around Husker football the past decade, I'm genuinely curious if you wake up everyday just pissed off at the respect and longing fans have for the Pelini/solich days? Find a hobby man, not worth it to be thinking about something so random
  22. You’re right and I don’t disagree, I could’ve worded my pelini summary better. I did mention the helu/burkhead/ameer era was in place. I guess what I was trying to point out is I thought we did t mart somewhat of a disservice with how often he did run. for instance- all the excellent backs you mentioned (that I miss dearly lol, we were so spoiled having those 3 in succession like that) are top 10. If you look at rushing attempts Taylor Martinez also top 10 and had he not had his entire senior year cut short due to injury he most likely would’ve finished 2nd all time in school history in running attempts. That’s just too much for a qb in my opinion. His legs made him dangerous for sure, was just trying to say I think a better balance could’ve been found to preserve him a bit more
  23. agreed. its also eerily coincided with the decline in our offensive line play. We never were a school placing QBs in the NFL but we sure as hell were placing lineman and running backs. For the most part, these 2 position groups have been devoid of quality talent since the end of Bo
  24. definitely a factor but we came out week 1 running the qb more than any 1 back prior to the injuries
  25. HH been getting piled on a lot, and deservedly so for the most part. But the bolded above was such a key event to work against us. I believe that was the 2nd ball that bullock should’ve caught for a first down and dropped it. We don’t have an all conf qb and you gotta make basic/routine plays as a wide out to lift him up and keep a drive going.
