  1. So is this the year that selling out the spring game and the home game atmosphere is finally going to pay dividends with recruiting?
  2. Trump: "Tells it like it is" Klobuchar: "She's mean" Trump: Has weird dining habits Gillibrand: Eats fried chicken with a fork and is deemed out of touch Trump: Advocates that police be more physical with criminals Harris: Has to defend her prosecution record as being too strong. I'm seeing a trend here
  3. I don't think she will have a difficult time winning over Californians.
  4. I think it has to do with perhaps she tweeted that she didn't want one dollar for DHS but then is saying it is an outrage that DHS employees haven't received their back pay. I'm sure what was intended was saying not one dollar for the wall but it's not what she tweeted. Just a guess.
  5. I believe Klobuchar will be able to distinguish herself apart from the others because she is from the middle(in general terms) of the country. Which is where Clinton lost big and where Democrats still lag behind. Harris and Gillibrand are from the coasts. And while it shouldn't be a disqualifier, people from the Midwest typically take an unfavorable view towards them compared to others from the start.
  6. I agree that the references to Prince and the weather were getting tiresome. Otherwise I thought she did great. I think she will appeal to more people across the spectrum compared to some others that have announced their candidacy
  7. According to Legistorm, a website that tracks this sort of thing, Klobuchar was 3rd highest from 01-17 and 4th highest in 2018 in the Senate for turnover. https://www.legistorm.com/turnover/worst_bosses.html
  8. And there is no hole digging. I thought it was an interesting observation from Sitting Bull from over 200 years ago that we still face today. It didn’t really require you to discount what he said.
  9. I think it’s rings don’t plug them. But I could be mistaken
  10. I think you are trying to draw a conclusion that’s not there. Agreeing with an opinion someone has on an issue is in no way an endorsement of everything they have an opinion on. Purchasing items in direct support of a campaign platform is totally different.
  11. So because I agree with his sentiment about one issue, I have to agree with everything he had an opinion of? I thought you covered this in your stance about MAGA hats.
  12. “The white man knows how to make everything but he does not know how to distribute it”—Sitting Bull 1885 telling Annie Oakley how white men could be so unmindful of their own poor. The more things change, the more they stay the same
  13. Republicans taking the same road on the environment as they did health care. They don’t have a plan but are willing to destroy anyone that does.
  14. I still eat poultry and fish. Pork has been limited significantly since it is considered a red meat. I started noticing whenever I consumed beef or other types of red meat like bison, elk, deer, etc, I would get extremely sick. Pork doesnt have the same effect but I decided to curb it anyhow. Now I don’t get sick anymore and I’ve been in the best shape since my teens-early 20’s.
  15. I haven’t consumed beef in over a year. Best health decision I ever made.
  16. I saw a tweet that said UCLA offered a scholarship to a player and that player opted to walk on at Washington instead. Yikes.
  17. I’m not saying he’d take the job or even be offered but I think he’s someone Moos has to inquire about if/when a search happens
  18. Trump also said once that if he were to run for president, he’d run as a conservative/republican because that base is easier to manipulate
  19. I think Craig Smith is very much on the radar despite his ties to Miles
  20. Starting to think some of this conversation needs it’s own thread
