I thought I would start a thread about the ambiguous tweet that Coach TJ sent out about keeping things undercover, #GAMECHANGERS. So if there is a surprise commit, put your prediction down here instead of on another recruits page. My guess is either both Alexander brothers or Darian Claiborne.

I agree. Seems a little strange you make a half a dozen visits to a school in the B1G and then say it's a dream to play in the SEC.

dont wanna get any hopes up, but I just have this hunch based on this tweet. They've got a big one saved for us. I was thinking the same, I mentioned something in my status. I think we should play this one low-key, too. No Twitter, nothing. This kid is an enigma, and he shuns the spotlight. Let TJ do his thing. Could it be the LB that is a verbal to aTm?

And at the end of the day, who really gives a sh#t? It will not make a difference on Martinez's throwing or running capabilities next year and I doubt Tommy Armstrong or Johnny Stanton will be affected either.

It was more pointed toward Brogan writing like a meltdown was about to take place. I have been out of the loop for a couple of days and when I start logging in to see what I missed while gone, it just sucks to have to weed through stuff like this on several threads. I wrote it like a demand but it is more of a suggestion to move it from a players thread.

These arguments are for a place like the woodshed. I hate clicking on a recruits page thinking there is something important to read just to find people going at each other on a players page. It sucks. So please stop.

I am sure we have a lot of kids like this on the team, but it is always refreshing when a player doesn't get google eyes just because one of the "big name" coaches comes calling in the 11th hour

Are we in the picture because he did not commit and we were still on his list? Or did he not commit because he is still strongly considering us?

If they want him, they get him.... I'm so tired of this; we need too start winning some conference championships, and BCS bowls so we have the same intrigue that the LSU's of the world have..... That will definalty help, but what we really need is the coaching staff to take recruting seriously and do it year round. When you mainly do it in the offseason, then you are left scrambling when your top targets go elsewhere and you don't have an option 1A or 2. That is how you get a team of guys that are not good enough to win championships becasue they were given scholarship offers because we just needed to fill spots to take a full class. Do you really think our coaches don't take recruiting seriously? Do you think they don't do this year around? Honestly of all the statements I heard about this staffs recruiting abilities, these 2 have got to be up there for most ridiculous

Not "may" but "will"... The skers might not win the B1G but I highly doubt the 2013 season will produce less success then did last years 2012 team. Let's hope you get to witness them "winning" the B1G this year, yes? I didn't mean to say that they wouldn't make it. I meant that I am not sure if i will make the game or games. I think it is going to be a strong year for them. I think college football could learn a thing or 2 about scheduling from Erstad so we don't alway have to see D2 games.

I would actually believe him if he went some place other than Kentucky where they have the biggest slimeball of a coach in Calipari "recruiting" nothing but one and done players for the basketball team and if they had not just FIRED their football coach for not winning enough games.

Really? Oh...wait...why do we have so much attention in our athletic department on academics? How exactly did we get so many academic all Americans? Twitter is like a shovel for some of these kids. Anything they tweet, it just gets them deeper and deeper.

What is that ring anyway? It is kind of hard to see clearly. They are given to potential recruits by boosters and coaches! They are like a day pass at worlds of fun. Lets all the right people know that he's someone to be taken care of. JMHO So, it's against NCAA rules to show a jersey with the players name and number on it during a visit but it's okay to get a ring?

Living in Minnesota, I am just happy I will get to see them play some games this year again. They were in the Dairy Queen Classic at the Metrodome last year and Kyle Kubat threw a ball to my 5 yr old son and then signed it after the game. My son also got his picture taken with Will Bolt, Pat Kelly, and a few others. May get to see them in the B1G tournament as well.

Is it just me or do these HS coaches that tlk to the media about things like this always come off as looking like DBags? Elija Qualls coach was the same way. I think it is strange the way these HS coaches think it is okay to flap at the gums on behalf of these kids. If I am fortunate to have one of my kids good enough to play D-1 athletics, the HS coach will be one of the LAST people I would want speaking on my behalf.

I say we go after anyone in Missouri worth pursuing. Take em all.

This is just par for the course in the SEC. Lane Kiffin got into some trouble because he sent some hot co-eds to the high schools of some kids they were recruiting to Tennessee. Not sure this is should be surprise. I suppose the surprise is that this kid was dumb enough to use social media to show it off.
