  1. ESPN dropped him from original ranking of #48 RB to the #70 RB...WTH SMH! don't understand this?
  2. I think you are reading too much in to that sentence...I think he is just trying to make a point...I agree NU would fall in that same category, but it is not BP's preferred way of going about things, but we have too so we can keep up with all the other schools. So we are kind of forced into that situation of being like all the other schools.
  3. @HuskerHomerMark: Thx to @GarySharp1620 breaking the news that WR Demorea Stringfellow is N on @HailVarsity Radio this morning. Sigs papers today. #Huskers

  5. I think he is counted towards 2014 class... Nebraska added safety Kieron Williams Friday, and the 6-foot, 185-pounder will be in Lincoln next week to enroll in summer classes and begin workouts as a very late addition to NU's scholarship class of 2014, HuskerOnline.com first reported.
  6. Any more updates on his situation?
  7. won't be with the program in 2014 per 247 sports
  8. Big Red sitting at #9 overall on Scout
  9. Scout now lists him as a 3* NR

  14. @NateClouse: #Huskers CB commits Eric Lee & Avery Anderson are also extremely physical at the line. Most WR's want nothing to do w/them after a few reps

  16. @NateClouse: Can't say how impressed I continue to be with #Huskers CB commits Avery Anderson and Eric Lee. They single handedly take away half the field

  18. Almost sounds like playing football is just a side gig... but hey, if we can get him here for baseball and he plays football also...oh well...I'm happy:) I'm sure Erstad is giving him some good advice.
  19. VIDEO: #Huskers OL signee Tanner Farmer (@TRFarmer73) benches 225-pounds 34 times. http://on.fb.me/1fpdAT7 pic.twitter.com/Y7UpiGILVA Looking at combine results for bench press...that would have put him at 10th best at the NFL combine (overall) and #1 for OG (by 4 reps!) and 4th for OT's
  20. I will say this...even thought I despise Missouri, I give them props for doing the right thing (assuming this is accurate)...from what I have read, regardless of the fact the girls where dropping the charges, the coach should have done something and he did. I could see a lot of other teams just turn a blind eye for a kid with this kind of talent...albeit wasted talent!
  21. Wow...this kid is a freak! I hate getting my hopes up, but ya never know...
  22. Just some thought...A normal student, no scholly, gets loans, grants, or whatever...probably gets a job to have some extra spending cash for weekends, food, etc...they are not working to pay for their school right then and there. Student Athletes, don't have to pay for the schooling, but then no one really does while they are going to school...but they still need money for the things I mentioned before, but instead of being able to get a job and make some money for those things, they are at practice or watching film...not a lot of time left for homework and a job, etc... I have no doubt that I would have loved to have had my college paid for, but I didn't...so yes they are getting a benefit in that regard, but it doesn't take away from the fact that they still need money to get by while they are at college and they don't have a lot of extra time on their hands to get that done. I don't necessarily think a union is the right way to go, but I wish the NCAA would give student's some sort of stipend to live off of.
