While starting to look into the 2021 recruiting thread, I thought it would be interesting to go back and see how 2020 first started out. Here is one of @Mavric's first updates. I don't even remember some of these names.

I think this might be only the second or third time I've opened this thread. I'm always focused on the current class and really don't have much interest in something 18 months down the road. Thanks for everyone keeping track of this from the start. It also always amazes me how far in the future the staff has to be working on recruiting.

So, I believe this is how it all ended up. I'm reading we have a couple more spots to fill in February or over the summer with transfers. I think we could use another TE and maybe an interior lineman. 2019 Recruits are in RED and 2020 are in GREEN. Possible commits are in BLUE. Transfers in PURPLE. FYI.....these are not in any depth chart order.

Well...we have the QB "Noah" that has spent time in practice learning it. Then we have the ship builder who had 40 days to learn how to do it because he was bored out of his mind doing nothing but chores feeding all those animals. He probably was yelling at his kids to get busy doing chores because he needs to practice sleight of hand.

Yeah....they still have Gifford as not signing and we know that’s not right.

I’ll give it a solid A coming off three seasons with a total of 13 wins. This staff did a great job of selling their vision and building relationships.

So, did he not sign with anyone?

Distance to family seems to be the biggest factor here.

Just now happened again at 1:45pm. I was on the recruiting board.

This is sort of strange. People are claiming he's signed. Huskers haven't confirmed that and 247 doesn't have him as signed yet. There's claims he is going to announce tonight at 7pm. Sooooo......he signed, everyone knows it, but he's going to announce it later?

Why???

They won't say anything about it.

He was the coach at Iowa when we moved there. His coaching tree really is amazing.

I’m feeling that he signs with Oregon or he would have de-committed from there.
