  1. Kind of short with some grey hair to be a top LB prospect don't you think?
  2. Especially from Wisconsin. In all seriousness. The Jet Sweep is a good play. It's no different than any other pass play, run play, swing pass, option pitch...etc. If it's set up well and executed well, it's a good play. What we have seen from the Huskers, is just the opposite.
  3. So....just to clarify, the theory is that we have a President that has been shown and proven to constantly lie and make up crap about very serious issues asking someone under him to lie about very serious issues to the FBI. Do I have this correct? And....still people won't believe it.
  4. These people just fall all over themselves trying to validate their support for Moore while trying to act like their morals haven't been compromised.
  5. He's listed as a prostyle QB. How mobile is this kid? It would suck to lose a local kid to another power 5 program just because he doesn't fit our offense.
  6. Yeah...I wouldn't consider Gebbia the second string just yet.
  7. I find it interesting that Gebbia was his host. That tells me the staff is confident in Gebbia's positive attitude towards the coaching change.
  8. What in the heck are you talking about?
  9. All of these de-commits and commits are exactly why paying attention to recruiting the last month of the season seemed like a waste af time. We we will replace the de-commits
  10. I just dont understand why these top players in our class don’t want to play in our new systems and for a staff like this. Do players like this think they aren’t fast enough? But, if they don’t, we’ll find some who do.
  11. Completely agree. We need to find both.
  12. I posted it here because, in general, so many people get caught up in the same type of stuff that caused him to be overlooked. Frost went someplace joping to be a QB and was told he wasn’t good enough and came back and won an NC as a QB (understanding it was a different offense). Hopefully Frost and company can find players like this that work their asses off and succeed even when people don’t believe they will.
  13. Wait a minute. You have had the attitude all along that if an accusation comes up that is anywhere close to valid, the guy should be fired on the spot. NOW....you act like bosses are these horrible people for firing people when an accusation is brought up.
  14. OK..you keep going back to this point. NOBODY in this thread, that I remember, has said...."These things are no big deal". So, you constantly harping on that holds back having open and honest discussion about it.
  15. Maybe this is your goal. But, your response to even asking questions is an example of how discussing this issue is going to be extremely hard. To the bolded part of your post. This was not in the work place. Edit to add: At what age is a boy/man responsible years later for actions. If a boy walking down the hall of middle school does something inappropriate, should that be held against him decades later?
  16. I specifically ask this question not as anything you describe in the bolded part. You seem to jump directly to this the minute anyone would even think about asking a question about any situation. This instant reaction is exactly what many are fearing in these situations. Let me point out, nothing in the tweet by the woman says the "dude" touched her. He "pretended" to grab her boobs. So.....sexual assault can happen when a guy doesn't even touch the woman? Now, asking that question, I have no problem, if I were there, pointing out to the kid to stop it, it's inappropriate and he shouldn't be doing it. But, a career could be destroyed years later now by a college kid doing something where he didn't even touch a woman....interesting.
  17. I have a wife who is in management of a decent sized company. I have two daughters who will ultimately be professionals working in the work force. I want them to be protected in the work place and feel comfortable reporting inappropriate sexual activity if it happens. I have over 100 employees where many are women that I value very much as employees/friends and their contributions to the company. I take this issue very serious. If you're distraught discussing this with me, I have specifically said that I'm not talking just about Franken. I'm fine with him resigning. I thought he was a dork anyway and think there's better to have in the Senate. If these allegations are credible (and it seems some are) then great....glad he's gone. My part of the discussion is based on the general question of, how do we move forward in a word (that I support) where women feel free and empowered to come forward, how do we classify, verify or quantify a complaint to the point where a man's career should be destroyed? That might seem like a horrible question to you, but, it's a very valid question to ask and it doesn't make me, as the person asking it, some horrible person that supports sexual harassment. Edit to add: I do respect your views on this by calling out for the resignation of a Senator from your own party. There are many people that don't do that.
  18. Question..... Should the "dude" mentioned in the hidden tween of your post be found and fired?
  19. Gosh, I thought we were having a decent and healthy conversation about this. Sorry it's so stressful for you.
  20. Crap, this was going to be my first year getting season tickets.
  21. I just hope and pray that, if we get him, he is an accurate passer that makes good decisions. He obviously has wheels. I'm a little gun shy of guys who run fast but can't complete a pass or make good decisions.
  22. I feel bad they had to have Frost for two years.
