I would hope so. Maybe Ron can draw the slightly less MAGA crowd while Nikki pulls in the never Trump crowd.

Also not sure how strong of a ticket that would make - 2 southern GOP governors. Not any geographical or philosophical diversity there. Perhaps having a female at the top of the ticket would be a huge draw and securing the Florida electors being the other.

Yes, that would be the only possibility I could imagine - but it would have to come with some kind of security that Haley will upset the cult leader -- otherwise Ron would be signing his own GOP death certificate

The deep state no doubt is behind the rankings. How else can you explain that the Greatest President Ever is ranked last. Biden somehow needs to get this into his ads.

I agree. The D, like last year, will be our steady point as the O finds its legs. I like the new WRs and RB who are transferring in. They give us some much need experience (esp at WR) that will help. The OL should be better as well. Pass blocking will be the key. If our injury prone RBs return and remain healthy along wt the Oregon transfer, we should be good in that area as well. I'd like to see us take advantage of the TE spot more in the passing game - If Dylan is as good as advertised, maybe our TEs can be to us what TEs are to the KC Chiefs - they extend the drives with critical 3rd down receptions.

Give me what you are drinking . 10-2 is a stretch butttt if our D plays up to their potential I can see us at 8-4 easily. The key will be how our QBs adapt to the college game. I expect Dylan to be the starter on game 1. As long as we don't see this happen to Dylan that we saw with our previous 1st year QB, we should be OK during those first 6-7 games.

I agree 100% - my statement about democracy isn't to distract from the boarder issue. However, to your point, Trump and MAGA just played themselves into Biden's hands. All Biden has to do is put the tape on continual play of the vote for border reform, Trump stating he wants this as an issue, the Senate GOP pulling their support for the bill and of course the House stating it would be DOA. The full cult mindset is at play here. As many noted, this was the toughest Border bill in decades and the GOP bowed down to their cult leader and dropped it like a very hot potato. The GOP proved themselves to being a non-serious governing party and a very serious opposition (to solving real problems) party. Any time the GOP brings up the border crisis (which would have played in their favor prior to this boondoggle) all the Dems have to do is cue up the tape of GOP removing their support of a solution that they helped to create.

Agree. It should be farmed out to all networks over that time span. I wonder if CBS, NBC, Fox will challenge it in the courts. This quote below is something a buddy and I were talking about this morning at work. He is a KSU fan. Obviously, KSU doesn't have the funding many of the other big name schools have in the B1G & SEC (including Nebraska) and he says he is getting hammered with requests to contribute to NIL. Fans are increasingly having to pay higher ticket prices, concessions, travel, hotels, etc. Fans shouldn't be expected to pick up the tab for NIL as well.

I suspect that Putin has stuff on Trump and Trump has stuff on everyone of these GOP senators. The threat of blackmail has lead to butt and ring kissing all the way around. Putin is the puppet master and holds the cards. I'm sure his years as a KGB agent has equipped him well for this time.

That is good news - even if those 'tens of people' are sadden. The few for the many as they say. If Manchin doesn't run, I don't see anyone jumping on the No Labels band wagon. Hopefully Manchin, Liz, Romney and others can convincingly make the case that a vote for Trump is a vote against democracy and a vote for Biden (regardless of his flaws) is a vote for democracy. While the border would be the # 1 issue in a normal election, this year it is democracy and whether we will elect a want-to-be tyrant as president. America is better than that.
