I give credit when credit is due. Wish we would have hit a few bigger names in the trenches but the staff is getting hella good skill players. Considering your sentiment back then. Coaches can't recruit and all that. Yet we close by finding gems late. My guess is that we knew about these guys all along but kept them under the radar. Proof being the offers these guys picked up late. I think this class shows that our staff knows talent, and the teams coming in after us for some of these guys, just confirms it! My complaints in regards to the staff and its recruiting is towards certain coaches. I also want us to put forth as much effort as we currently are all year. You would see us have top 10 classes consistently with that effort.

With C being average how would you rank each position group for this years class as it stands now? QB: A RB: A+ WR: A- (add Clark and it goes to an A) TE: B+ OL: B ( could move to B+ once Johnson is N) DE: A- DT: B LB: A CB: N/A (waiting for a player to be N) S: B+

We will take most likely 1 CB this year. Next season expect a JUCO and a few HS kids is my guess.

I may be wrong but doesn't he just have to meet NCAA Clearinghouse and the rest is basically up to our university? I guarantee you many football players don't meet those requirements. I think we make exceptions for many student athletes

Dixon has a 3.5 GPA and a score of 17 on the ACT. "I'm in good shape academically, sir," Dixon stated. I was under the impression it had more to do with making sure all the classes he took were the correct ones needed to enroll in college. Might be off though.

Is this bad? Or is Nash just really good? Nash is solid, will easily be a contributor at KSU. I believe he would have also played at NU. Finnin is decent. I don't see him playing in the NFL or anything but will help with depth and has decent footwork

Glad he finally made it official

NU will lose fewer than 4 games and Bo will leave NU for a new gig. Chip Kelly realizes going to the NFL was a mistake. He looks at the offensive skill talent on our roster and Eichorst and him come to a 5 year contract agreement. Chip then pulls Frost in as his OC. NU then wins its first B1G championship in 2014 and wins its first BCS game.
