I dont know what the next few weeks will hold, for NU, but UGA is going to have a hard time focusing on us. A demoralized team like UGA could just implode. Maybe kids just go there cuz they like to win championships and go to the NFL.... IvabigN already told you how Saban recruits Top 5 classes every year--they over-recruit and force out players that they feel aren't contributing. That is, at best, an underhanded way to get top recruiting classes and an unconscionable way to craft a winning program. Even Mongo could figure something like this out... What about the 32 other teams ahead of us this year? They all cheat too?

We have gradually lost talent year by year. Look at our class rankings...some will point to the avg star etc. problem is you will only get in a perfect world maybe 50% of your class to be worth a darn. You sign 18 kids you pray you get 9 solid players. Then the big boys sign 25-30 a year and get the deadweight to move on yearly. It is a game of numbers and we are losing severely. Just so I understand your thought process: You'd rather cheat like the "Big Boys" and ruin players lives to "win" a few more games a year? We are being out recruited by the likes of Vanderbilt and Virginia and Baylor and Illinois and wisconsin and arizona and rutgers. only a spot ahead of northwestern and Iowa State. Did Callahan cheat to get highly ranked classes? Or did he just apply himself? Oh what about Notre Dame or tOSU or Michigan? They cheat too? How is cutting deadweight ruining peoples lives??? That loss to Wisky was as bad as any loss that Cally had. I would say worse...we were starting to appear relevant to the college football world again. This game will have the same effect as the beat down Colorado put on us way back when

I completely agree with you! You have to give Bo credit, the man does have a very good defensive scheme for stopping the pass, but his scheme for stopping the run is in drastic need of some help. Coaches exchange ideas all of the time, and I think if Bo talks to Saban it would be a great trade off for both teams. Bo teaches Saban some of his pass defense ideas, while Saban tells Bo why he uses a 1-Gap Cover 1 Defense instead of a 2-Gap Cover 2. Who knows if this will happen or not, but one can hope right? He is good against defending the pass....when he plays teams with weak passing attacks. We also let teams run all over us. The B1G especially our schedule was not full of pass happy teams. His scheme is also only effective when he has elite talent. We don't have that anymore. We are out of Callahan recruits now

One difference though, in their entire history they've never had more than 3 seasons in a row with 9 wins. We should keep Pelini just to always be better than they are no matter what. Then we can always be average!!! Yay!!!!

Does his 34-19 record against BCS competition these last 5 years buy him more time? Or his 8-11 record against top 25? Or losing to 8 unranked teams in 5 seasons??? Take away his cupcake of a schedule and Bo doesn't even look average. This team has massive holes just like our old friend Frank Solichs teams did
