Urban Meyer was obviously tOSU's top choice, for good reason. It would have been interesting if they would have been more interested in Bo and made it known publicly. It would have been an interesting situation to say the least. Bo was the first person they wanted, but Bo denied the job, said he had no interest. If he would have said he would take it, I am almost positive they would have stopped their search and Meyer would never have been mentioned. Like I have said before in another thread, this is Bo's home. He has a lot of love for the program, the players & alumni, and a lot of love for the fans, whether most see it or not. He isn't going anywhere. This is his home, not because I am saying it, but because the facts are right there in front of everyone. He came back to Nebraska. I don't think it was because of it just being for a HC gig, but for that option to coach where he loved coaching at. If UT and NU were both to offer him a job at that time, I whole heartily believe, he would have still chosen Nebraska. This is the first time I ever heard that Bo turned down the Ohio St job, or declined to interview or however you want to put it. Is there any supporting evidence at all of this? Link? You won't find a link, but it happened precisely as the poster put it. tOSU came calling right before 2011 season. Bo has turned down a ton of jobs. The only thing that made him even consider anywhere else was after the aTm deal. Harvey was getting a ton of pressure from Delaney about how "non-big ten Bo was acting." I have to disagree. Bo was not offered tOSU job. He wasn't even interviewed via phone or anything. He had his agent put out feelers just like he has for multiple BCS gigs. This I am 100% certain of. Urban was #1 from the get go for them and why wouldn't he be?

I expect him to be a husker once his grades etc are all lined up, heard that is what may be slowing down the public verbal. I don't know if you would call him a silent but given the choice of Nebraska or SDSU it is rather easy

A kid of his size, it was probably needed. Stupid stupid. Football was his ticket and he may have thrown that away. I hate to say it, but really???????? Really dude?????????????? has some growing up to do. Hopefully he can turn it around in JUCO and at the very least earn a college degree to help better his life down the road. Bo's saltwater aquarium guy? No his Podiatrist....always has the goods! If it has feet it has legs! The salt water aquarium guy used to give me solid info...lately it has became rather fishy though...

Just talked with a few people and this has no legs at all. With the team Bo has coming back next season etc and the potential to grab a B1G championship and play in a BCS bowl his stock will rise after next season. If he leaves that will be when in my opinion unless they throw a stupid number at him like 4.75 mil a year.

Or start a league that allows them to be used....bet I know which league makes more money and has more viewers... It was called the XFL and it failed awesomely. And league hedley would fail just as miserably. If the PED scandal in baseball proved anything, it is people, ie the fans, do not respect or want to dump money into a sport filled with juicers. Oh yeah. He's very athletic. He set the pole vault record at Kearney High, which is a crazy good track and field school. I think he went like 16'2 or something. Unreal. Also played WR for them if I remember correctly

I don't think you know what a flea flicker is ... Yeah that was definitely not a flea flicker more of a reverse sweep pass sort of deal. Flea flicker is basically a handoff to your running back, he then turns around pitches it back to the qb who tosses it to a WR or TE....think that is right

Don't think he will be a Husker unfortunately. Will stay in the south where it is warm

In terms of Dbacks this kid could turn a solid class into an awesome class. Has the skills to be a first rounder in a few years

As I do with anything you post. The fact that this guys starts a thread in the recruiting forum just to dick everyone around is ridiculous. Then to butt heads with fowler about recruiting is insane! Sorry don't know of any of fowlers or EZ E sources so I take what I am told etc do my best to connect dots and see what there is. I happen to disagree with the policy of going home and thinking about it...so do successful salesmen and Nick Saban and Urban Meyer are also against it. This is like the 3rd or 4th post in the last day or 2 where you have made statements that piss everyone off and then ask them to be civil to you. This has to be a record.
