I have no problems with what Bo said. I respect Tommie Frazier tremendously, and I think we all can agree that constructive criticism of Bo is fair. But Tommie's tweet wasn't fair criticism, that was lashing out in frustration. Tommie's follow up tweet would have been a better one to start with: That Bo needs to talk to another coach and get some tips. That's a fair statement. I agree. But Tommie definitely shouldn't call for the firing of a whole staff like that, even if it is justifiable. For such creates instability. It's one thing for one of the regular media hacks to call Bo out on something, but when a former legend says something, people take notice. We don't need instability, right now, we need cohesion and purpose. Could Bo have maybe approached it more diplomatically? Sure. But in the end, Bo's statement was true.

Man, I'm sick of having to endure these Nebraska meltdowns on Mondays.

The whole Pelini-Frazier thing is irrelevant, I feel. Both guys are just upset right now.

And that first half is what puzzles me. We play the rest of the game the way we did there, and right now we're engaging in the good old "IS NEBRASKA BACK" talk Which gives me hope. It wasn't like the other blowouts. Not acceptable by any means, but we were doing things right. Ohio State was kinda that way too last year, but this one seemed different. During that Ohio State game, I felt worried they'd come back. With the UCLA game, at half I felt pretty good still.

We have plenty of right to be upset, but you think that's all we're doing? Do you think every Husker fan just has reasonable discussions like us? Imagine that your job performance was followed by 1.8 million people, every move analyzed and criticized.

Maybe it would be wise for him to take it into consideration, but Bo was basically forced into a corner by that rant. If he gives it any credence, then the talks of "WHO'S GETTING FIRED" start rising up.

I do admittedly grow weary of the word "execute", and by weary, I mean, "please never say it again it is an actual assault on my ears."

All in all, press conferences are just words either way. I don't put my stock into them.

The media's already having an aneurysm. So that's the one good thing about Bo. Everything he says gives the media fits, and when the media is upset, I'm happy.

Nah, everyone wants to see Bo do well. He is a good guy, I definitely want him to be "the guy" for this team.

I know, and I agree. I want us to turn the corner. But it's not like it's even that far out of our grasp.

It's cool, we just need to step back and relax. Bama was in a way, way worse situation not that many years ago, and now they are us from the 90s. Football...it's cray.

I think he's more saying that this program will be like that in perpetuity. Which I fully disagree with. We're a blue blood program. We'll be back. Be that this season (yes, it's still possible) or 10 years from now.

this about sums it all up. what bo needs to do is get a real dc. i think that would go a long ways with fans. That I would be okay with. DCs are generally easier to replace than HCs.

Only change coaches when you can reasonably expect to get someone better. Right now, I'm not seeing it. So we shall be patient. This season is still extremely young.

Of course they're lose-able, I'm not saying they aren't. But I'm highly doubting 7-5 or 6-6. I'd be stunned. I'd be flabbergasted. The reason I have hope is because I'm a fan. What's the point of going "Well, heck, they suck, time to have a very unenjoyable experience and watch my team expecting them to lose." That doesn't sound like fun, and that's what being a fan is about. I'm not saying I'm expecting world-beaters, but I'm hoping for Nebraska to get it together. That's all.

I agree with that. Losses are acceptable if we're at least playing our best damn football. But if this team does play their best every game, they'd win out.

Don't ever discount an opponent. Ever.

Seriously, though, you know in your heart that every game for the rest of the regular season is quite winnable for Nebraska. It's not like we've got Bama, A&M, Oregon, and Ohio State on the docket. But you just want to go with the crowd going crazy right now.

It's gonna be hilarious when Nebraska wins the next 4 games (yes, we're beating Northwestern, shut up) and everyone is thinking 11-1. It'll go as it'll go. We'll go to a bowl, that's certain, but calm yourselves down, we're not going 6-6, this team will out talent at least 5 more opponents.

I'm extremely hesitant to question the heart of our players. Unless you've actually played, I find it tough for to you say you know exactly how they fill. You really think guys like Kenny Bell are lacking the heart?
