Absolutely positive. Nearly every prospect in the country has a projected high, low, and average 40 based off what guys see on film, or things they hear. They change them when official times come in. Burkhead was projected 4.4-4.5 before the combine on the same site. It has since been adjusted.

I would say however that T-Magic is probably about that time. No way can Ankrah run a 4.78.

I'd agree with husker07. I don't think juniors ran at pro day events unless they were entering the draft.

  1. Going to TN? Myles Autry5⃣ ‏@KingCinco_ I Might Have To Commit On My Birthday......on Sunday... But Idk Where Though?
  2. Grew up a big Gators fan. They will be the ream to beat if they offer.
  3. At the Nike Combine in Orlando, Florida, Zach, among all of the QBs in attendance, had the best timing on routes in the short, intermediate and vertical passing game.

  5. Yeaa.. that's a pretty bad fake.. It isn't fake. The recruiting head for NCS really did send it. IMO he was trying too hard to be unique and hip. Problem is that he apparently sent out many copies of that same exact letter to recruits, a couple of which posted a pic on twitter. Those recruits must be a bit pissed thinking they got a one of a kind letter only to find it wasn't. You can tell it's an obvious photo copy. That C on the line. Can't remember the last time I didn't draw a whole letter because the margins were too tight on the sheet. Yep....the same with the I that was cut off. These types of letters work if they are actually personally written. Vague personal letters do not work that much. You need to mention specific details that you see on the film and how they would make your team better and how the prospect would fit into the program. Those are the personal letters that get a prospects attention. The type of letter that is in the image above is lazy, mass recruiting efforts.
  6. footballcoachUS Terry Hoover I recommend McGary ecstatic about Nebraska offer: Don't pigeonhole Kaleb McGary as a lineman because he's tall.

  10. Same question - there was a 100-play scrimmage yesterday, right? I haven't seen a report anywhere. There isn't going to be reports. It was a closed scrimmage.
  11. Nebraska, Georgia Tech, and Wisconsin offered at running back, while Boston College, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Temple, and Virginia Tech have offered as a wide receiver.
  12. Thick body, strong, very hard to bull rush against him. Solid, very solid prospect. http://footballrecru...asp?CID=1482748 He is the only offensive lineman on that clip that was able to handle the defensive player. Was Rivals DL MVP during the Arizona Rivals Camp.
  13. Wants to come for a visit....more of a matter of when than if.
  14. Jared Shanker ‏@JShankerESPN TE Ethan Wolf recently visited #Huskers and #Kentucky but he's not ready to trim his list. #Vols #Spartans #iufb next ht
  15. For the last 15 seasons, Wisconsin comes in with the 14th best defensive line unit in the country when it comes to sending players to the NFL. 1: Florida State 2: North Carolina 3: LSU 4: Penn State 5: TN 6: Miami 7: Nebraska and USC are tied 7. (tie) Nebraska * The Data: Top-Three Round Picks: 8; First-Round Picks: 4; First Overall Picks: 0. * The Skinny: Nebraska has long been known for producing top line talent on both sides of the ball. The Huskers have sent several D-linemen to the NFL in the first round, including DE Grant Wistrom (1998), DE Jason Peter (1998), NT Adam Carriker (2007) and DT Ndamukong Suh (2010) 9: Texas 10: Florida 11: Georgia 12: Ohio State 13: Clemson 14: Wiscosnin 15: Alabama http://247sports.com/Article/Florida-State-UNC-LSU-are-tops-on-the-defensive-line-121109 Note that the list doesn't take into account how well a school develops the talent.
  16. First ranking has him as the highest 3-star level you can be before hitting 4-star status. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being a 4-star on Scout or Rivals.
  17. tennessee will have a great class this year. They are in great shape with a lot of top talent I'm not sure if Tennessee will end up in the top 10 when it is all said and done on national singing day, but they sure are on pace to bringing in a solid class.....best class in years. I hope Virginia is able to land one of the two big time DL targets. Virginia and TN are in good shape to mix some things up on the team rankings this recruiting cycle. It is always important to remember that college football runs in cycles.
  18. Committed to Tennessee this morning. That will come as a shock to the Ohio State fans that thought he was a sure thing for them.
  19. anyways........ I am glad to see a former college football coach giving positive press for the O Line!
  20. Scrimmage tomorrow will show where they are at heading into the break. What do you all think they will be doing... first team D against second team O and first team O against second team D?
  21. Your right like usual Hedley. He was, Nebraskafaninwin....I mean HuskNatioPri... You probably should have posted this in the shed....just sayin You guys need to stop arguing with Hedley....he didn't say anything tonight that should result in an argument.
  22. WOW....that is a big statement. It will be interesting to see how he ranks the O Line groups after he visits WI, MI and OSU.
