I was just coming to post that. I don't know much about Taylor, I'll ask around. He also offered Trent Green Jr out of the same school a preferred walk-on. Stanford has also offered the same.

Is there a word on when or how? I believe both of these players are from the Houston area.

We need to trust in the coaching staffs ability to evaluate talent. We have had higher ranked players flop. He is young, athletic & has size. This is one we might be talking about in a couple of years, good or bad.

It amazes me that our starting PG does not handle the ball when teams press.

Then he was MIA for couple games, but now these last two, in important wins, has come in and provided a spark and played a rather significant roll. Agree. The end of the bench may have given him time to evaluate.

Bad analogy, T-magic had much more of a supporting cast. Petteway is asked to carry the team, because there is no one else. The 2 man offensive weave between him & Shields kills me. Hell, Benny does not even bring the ball up on a press and he is our pg. It's actually a very good analogy. Who's this supporting cast for Martinez you speak of? The shortcomings of his have always been lack of oline, lack of defense, lack of coaching, etc. Bell, Enumwa, Reed, Helu, Rex, Ameer. Yet he had as many carries as our NFL caliber backs. It was about T-magic being a ball hog. Pettewey is forced into, due to lack of cast. Plus, his numbers in RB, A, Steals, ect have all gone up this year in his actual 2nd year of college ball.

I missed the first 5 minutes of the game, but what I heard on the radio was that there was no contact just high elbows. Flagrant 2 is defined as contact. Was there contact or not?

According to the World Herald..... Pitchford WILL NOT be suspended for Michigan game. I believe that it is automatic suspension for the next game in the NBA, but not college.

I think he can start as a freshman.
