More bowl games approved! Fanfriggintastic.... can we just drop the charade that more than like 8 of the bowls matter? Lets just speed the process up and make it 60+ bowls so EVERY team can go to one.

  Again, as I stated above JJ, it's about creating meaningful matchups. The more bowl eligible teams (and games) means the more deluded the matchups become. UCLA, an 8-win team, got paired up with a 5-win team. There were several teams like that who got paired up with some barely eligible 5-6 win teams. I'd rather see 8-9 win teams getting paired up.

  I agree that more games dilutes the good ones and doesn't foster more meaningful match ups. I'd rather see good games too. I just fail to see what real harm it does. I guess I vote with my eyeballs. If the bowl sponsors are satisfied with crap ratings, who am I to care?
