The only way to win is not to go.

Agree that they can't win either way. Say nothing-get labeled as dodging or indecisive. Say something-get lambasted for being opportunistic and inappropriate. Maybe that is one reason the candidate pool has gotten so weak. Good people probably don't want the ass ache.

I did, I turned the channel. I get what you're saying and don't disagree necessarily. Just seemed like a poor choice of timing on their parts. Today I wouldn't have thought anything of it. But yesterday they had just gotten done talking to a witness in France, Hillary as the next guest seemed oportunistic and in bad taste.
