  1. Well to be fair Kenny Bell is held to a high standard. Alot is expected of him, and he is a unique talent and star on the team. When we lose the stars of the team will be the ones asked about the loss, and unfortunately attacked via social media by "fans".
  2. This is true. They are afforded a very special opportunity because of the devoted following Nebraska football has. It's a double-edged sword. There are plenty of other walks in life. Being in the spotlight is never easy, and while crazy fan behavior shouldn't be excused, some coaches instill a better ability to handle this productively than others. The players who chose to come here deserve our respect. They put their well being on the line to play the game and those who chose to play for Nebraska, for us, deserve to be respected.
  3. They sacrifice their very well being to play for us and you could care less. These fine young men deserve more respect than you seem to think. Seriously just shame on you. They don't play for us. They play for their own enjoyment and the hope of getting paid at the next level. We enjoy watching Nebraska Football. They play for Nebraska. Therefore they play for us.
  4. You just post stuff like this to get attention, right? And sadly somebody gave him a +1. That may be even worse than his post.

  6. He hasnt posted since. Must have gotten his nap in and cured his crankiness. That always helps me.
  7. 8-4 or 7-5? Ok I'm totally full of it. 12-0!!!!! TOP ME OFF BARKEEP!
  8. I just cant begin to wrap my head around Mack in a white/red polo. It feels wrong, it feels dirty, and not in a good way. He will not be coming here. Standing by this. Actually would he be interested in a coordinator position...........
  9. And a +1 for your +1.............but I can't let you have the win.
  10. My prediction for 2013 is that nobody will be happy with the outcome. I think that may be my prediction for 2014 as well.

  12. I'm losing this thread Yes you are. I win. I agree wholeheartedly, you sir win handily! Congratulations to you and all your fans! Thankyou for the kind words. I accept my victory.
  13. Always glad to hear of a Husker fan with a chance to strap on the lid with the N.
  14. So you think if we replace Bo and staff with generic, average staff than we would have lost against Wyoming, SDSU, Illinois and Purdue? Say we have a Charlie Weiss or a Lane Kiffin in place. Yes, we absolutely could have lost those games. 6 short years ago we definitely would have lost those games. That's where we disagree. I see all four of those as quite easily winnable for an average staff. And they should be winnable. And they were all wins. If it came down to Bo's coaching being as big an issue, we should have lost at least one of them. But we didn't and we persevered with a really young banged up team.
  15. Got the device you recommended, working like a friggin charm! Thanks again man.

  17. Schematically I think we were in pretty solid position that game, so I don't think the coaching was that bad. But I do think six fumbles (in light of how consistently Bo's teams have had issues) has to come back to coaching. If you disagree, I probably can't convince you, but you'd have to make a case for why Bo's teams have had so many issues in this area, spanning six years and hundreds of different players. I don't believe it is a coincidence. It's not secret turnovers have been a major issue for a few years now. I would think extra detail will be paid now that Bo clearly has to be in Eichorsts danger zone.
  18. Michigan showcased what the team can do when focused, that was a well coached game. I think the Wyoming win was also due to coaching, a couple bad calls towards the end and we lose that game. South Dakota State could have gone like Wyoming but we adjusted and responded to the coaching. Illinois and Purdue were both comfy wins that can be attributed to the coaches even if they are awful teams. Northwestern was all on RK3, Bo had nothing to do with the Hail Mary. The Penn State game looked like a physical chess match and I feel confident saying that Bo was the better coach that day.
