Great moment in football lore for sure. Naming the 71 game #1 wouldve been easy based off reputation alone. But the Miami game represented something more.

It would be great paying them back but two things happen: 1) We win. Every Longhorn we encounter uses the "Yeah but we suck this year." 2) We lose. Texas fans feed us more crow than we can deal with, Lincoln implodes.

RG44 has been talking about leaving for the NFL for a while. He'll put some meat on his bones, have a hellatious 2014 and he'll enter the draft. I always hate to see guys go early, but there's only so many miles you can put on your body. It makes sense for them & their future. If thats the case the only way he would stay would be Nebraska coming up just short of something big to entice him to return.

Really dont want an SEC repeat, something fresh would be good. Also need a good matchup, give these youngsters a chance to set the bar for the next few years and give these Seniors, Martinez, a bowl win to go out with.

SJB over Dennard? Can you imaging a DL w/ Gregory, Crick, Suh and Martin? Dear God. We are about to have about the closest to that equal in 2015. Gregory, Clinkscales, Valentine, Newell. If you think Gregory will be here in 2015 you're kidding yourself. And considering we haven't seen 2 of these 4, and the other is yet to live up to his potential I'd say this is a HUGE stretch to even discuss them in the same convo as guys like Crick, Suh and Martin. If Bo is here in 2015 I believe RG44 will be as well. Maybe they wont be the same as those guys but maybe theyll be better. Let the optimism through your forcefield, feel it flow through you. Dear god I can actually picture us doing this against Iowa. Call it the Corn Bowl when the Hero novelty dissapears. Have the Corn King Mascot award the Corn Bowl trophy to the winner behind the Corn Rows. Popcorn will rain from above. I may vomit.

I wouldnt say Mizzou or Auburn isnt deserving, they both had tremendous seasons but both had a little luck in getting there, you have to this day and age. Regardless of tOSU wins, they havent lost so they earned it moreso than a couple one losses. THe argument of Mizzou in the Big Tennis irrelevant. 1) They arent 2) They wanted in and were not invited and now act like they didnt ever want in 3) IF they were they would have at least two losses because they would not have had the clear path. They wouldve had to run a gauntlet like Nebraska did last couple years. Wisconsin could beat them I think, bad matchup. MSU would be too. Nebraska wasnt great this year, no denying it. Young crew. Even our new recruit saw that and was impressed we were still competetive with backups. Ill give Mizzou persevering without Franklin, good depth there in Columbia for sure. But lets face it. Georgia is beat up. Florida is atrocious and SCAR is a tad overrated. The path wasnt as daunting as some would think. Tennessee still gets in its own way, Vandy underachieved. Kentucky.........

Landlord nailed it above. The friggin commercials suck everyone out of the game. Just pointless. "Yay 12 of the 18 people who are supposed to be in Row 34 won a diet pepsi!" No more nonsense. Im all for honoring the womens bowling team but maybe pregame instead of inbetween important downs. I wouldnt give the WWE free reign over the whole shebang but they would ABSOLUTELY be beneficial towards creating a new tunnel walk. Incredible video crew and they are really good at making their own in house music. Also they know how to quickly churn out live highlights into video packages. 1st and 10 RG44 comes up with a sack. By 3rd down and long they could have him breathing fire during the highlight to Slipknots wait and Bleed. Watch a Wrestlemania and see the video package at the end from the whole show you just watched. They waste no time.

I love the tunnel walk but it might be time to upgrade. Also the sound system is ancient, hear they are upgradding that. Really anything to make it more hostile towards teams.

Honestly Tim Beck taking a MAC gig wouldn't upset me. Papuchis I dunno, hard to say if he's more of a figurehead or the real DC so either way I guess he could stay.
