  1. hello, don't forget about franklin & hunter, because they have not forgotten about NU: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=543469
  2. hello, gerald parker, ol, compton cc, will be visiting on oct 7th: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=543469
  3. gerald parker, ol, compton cc, will be visiting NU on oct 7th: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=543469 this juco has been a hotbed for blake & NU & big men - w/ ola & johnson
  4. hello, here is a nice read on boyd-anderson from scout - which tells that NU leads: http://nebraska.scout.com/2/543769.html p.s. go get'em jordan
  5. hello, we will have to scratch b lawrence from the list of prospects w/o offers - because during his unofficial trip that he took w/ b smith this wk-end, lawrence received a schollie: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=542...2%2f542388.html
  6. hello, lb's brian smith & blake lawrence of overland park, ks, visited unofficially this wk-end, smith has offers from co, mo, ks, ks st, & tt - but, no NU offer as of yet - & lawrence has offers from NU, az st, ia, mi st, mo, & has camped at ia & mi st anthony blue, from cedar hill, tx, cb, 5'9", 161, 4.56, also unofficially visited NU - he has offers from bay, tul, & hous - was very impressed w/ NU, but no NU offer as of yet
  7. a couple of wks ago, I posted that he was the next hot prospect - since, many of the top qb's had either chosen, or were b/w 2 or 3 schools, & then tt targeted this kid, & many other schools followed tt lead - now, including NU I was always frusterated when NU would offer a 2nd or 3rd tier prospect, or diamond in the rough type, & then ore, or wash, or az, or somebody else would follow w/ any offer, because of NU's ability to find that next hot prospect - so, I am glad to find that tt is what NU used to be: when I posted about this kid 2 wks, he had about 4 major offers - wi, pur, bay, & tt - now he has tripled that, & watch it quadruple - thanks tt:
  8. hello, I think that NU's coaches know that when they give stangel their offer of a schollie that he will commit - because of his desire to play here, & w/ a score of relatives in the area - so, unfortunately they are going to play the waiting game w/ him to see how the recruiting process of gray is going to play out p.s. my thought is if NU offered bates a schollie, & bates was bested greatly at camp by stangel, than stangel deserves his schollie
  9. hello, I love how things ebb & flow - 3 days ago, the sky was falling when NU missed out on a 6', juco qb, who on film seemed to throw every pass as a 5-yrd out to his rb, & then yesterday, the #13 rated qb, visits NU unofficially p.s. logan gray rated higher than forcier, lee, garcia, fanuzzi, & munns 2nd p.s. sc signed smelley last yr, & have garcia as their top target this yr, & tn signed stephans last yr (a&m kind of scares me, because they are just as needy as NU is to sign a good qb, & both missed on that opportunity last yr - yet, a&m is pushing for burns as heavily as they are for gray - so, there is a plus for NU) 3rd p.s he also has offers from a&m, cal, & aub (& sit as med interest w/ NU)
  10. hello, here is another p-s qb, who's stock is now rising: brock mansion, 6'5", 221, 4.75, plano, tx http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=2436389 http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=45133 also, lentz: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=47442 also, witt: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=52271 p.s. the bad thing is that a lot of the next tier pro-style or dual-threat hs qb's are either from the se or wc, & seem to want to stay closer to home - the only top midwest qb's who are uncommitted are logan gray (mo), & chris smith (oh) - & NU has no shot at smith
  11. hello, the next target & a pro-style qb, who is now gathering a lot of buzz (for schools who have missed on the top-tier p-s qb's) is: patrick witt, wylie, tx, 6'4", 215, 4.95 he has recently garnered schollie from northern schools - wi, in, & pur, & southern schools - tt, a&m, & bay - NU could also sneak in on his kid w/ the others if they are willing p.s. who said that the top qb's are pretty much taken, because their is a watch-&-see b/w 3: tyrod taylor #2 d-t qb, hampton, va, who is uncommitted - vt & fl as his top 2 stephan garcia #5 d-t qb, tampa, fl, who is uncommitted - fl & sc as his top 2 matt lentz, 6'3", 205, 4.74, who is uncommitted - has many including NU, clem, sc, nd, ky, ga, & gt rumor mill: the lentz situation is the most interesting, because if garcia goes to sc, & w/ smelley 4* coming in as a fr this yr, then sc is out - which seems like the most likely conclusion, because tebow 5* is at fl; plus, clem has a verbal from korn 5*; & ga & gt are in a battle over a wait-&-see there b/w two 4* uncommitted ga high-schoolers in nesbitt & newton - plus, ga signed stafford 5* last yr; nd signed 2 top qb's last yr, & have a verbal from claussen, this yr - therefore, lentz maybe looking at NU harder then most suspect! thank you for your time, hootin'
  12. hello, aj went to hs in fl, & is very high on ole' ms p.s. 17 tds as a fr at coll of seq: http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.a...sp?pr_key=49918
  13. hello, hopefully the game against usc will not have dwayne garrett in it: http://usc.rivals.com/content.asp?cid=553540 p.s. if he is not able to partake in the game it would be a huge gift to NU!
  14. hello, according to the owh 2 of the most impressive ath at the NU camp were 15 yr old, db, 4.70 - 40's, & soph's to be: sam pour from kc, & gabe dillard bro of phillip from ok http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_pg=38&u_sid=2191248
  15. hello, this article from owh shows how much the NU coaches like abner: http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_pg=38&u_sid=2187330 p.s. great to hear of his interest to possibly take a gs from NU
  16. hello, according to scout alex russian will be visiting NU in oct, & he has NU high on his list of schools: http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=8&c=1&nid=2557058
  17. hello, from what I have heard bates, washington, heiman, lee, stangel, batten, & cassidy p.s. I have a hunch that washington & stangel will be the 2 qb recruits this yr (w/ washington recruited as an ath), & possibly another 2nd p.s. I have a hunch that bates decommits from ia st
  18. hello, if you are going to tailgate then you have to invite this guy: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1249256/bio p.s. look at the 2nd or 3rd to last paragraphs
  19. noah keller should have his NU schollie anyday, now...since he was a hit at NU camp, & was a mvp at the ore (eugene) camp: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=540...2%2f540321.html
  20. hello & excuse me for interrupting, but I can recall last yr at this time that 5 qb's who were top pro-style/top 20 qb prospects, who committed in or around june began to waver, & either reopened their recruitment, or decommitted from their verbal committment of univ: mustain - reopened his recruitment after committing to ark, & began to communicate, &/or visit - nd, ala, tenn, & mia, before signing w/ ark mcelroy - verballed to tt, & decommitted & then signed w/ ala potts - verballed to tt, & then visited mich & bay, & then signed w/ tt cade - verballed to lsu, & then visited ok st, & signed w/ ok st freeman - verballed to NU, & then visited, & signed w/ ksu & those are just the pro-style qb's - whims, & decommittments, & hs kids go hand & hand p.s. yet, I would rather panic now then in jan - like last yr w/ freeman (am I right?)
  21. kinne is high on tn & bay, yet mcnutt & stangel & thomas have shown interest in NU, but I am predicting a simms visit sometime to NU p.s. some kids will waver on their committments - possibly bates, & maybe lee - because of sullivan (happy thoughts & deep breaths, everyone)
  22. hello, he wanted to stay on the wc, & wanted to contribute early, plus he would have a 3 yr tussle for pt w/ beck, therefore or st p.s. my biggest wish for qb is still available in...simms (go sic'em NU coaches!)
  23. hello, here is a small snippet from scout on keller, lb, from kearney: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=540...2%2f540065.html
  24. 2 verbals from the state of tx is one more than NU had during last yr's recruiting season p.s. I just heard that he runs a 4.37 shuttle x - sounds like a future herian
