Keep Mich's offense off the field? Yes, let them score on the punt return.
On the good news front, it's only 46-0 with only 9 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter. Plenty of time for Frost's halftime adjustments to kick in...
I keep remembering that it was Frost that volunteered to coach THIS team - not the other way around. Players aren't allowed to pick and choose like coaches are. When coaches can't coach up the players they volunteer to have, then that's the coach.
Like the coach said, "We wanted it to be easy, and it wasn't, so we lost." It's just another team from Texas, coming into Lincoln, walking off with money and victories. Nothing special. Nothing to see here... move along...
San Antonio. It's a glorified high-school, sort of like Philly's glorified high school college teams. They pick up Div II & III players that can't afford to pay their own way.
Well, Texas teams coming into Lincoln for victories is nothing new. We're probably used to it - and running away from playing them is our best bet from now on. We're in the Big 10 so we need to be playing the crummy teams that are guaranteed victories for us instead of giving away dollars to Texas teams that beat us.
This is obviously the greatest coach in the history of football - that's why he wanted to come to Nebraska. We'll probably be national champs next year and from then on.
I agree with you - we should be given these games. Just because we're winless in the NCAAs doesn't mean the refs couldn't give us all the calls - why should we have to play well enough to win? They should give us the games - I agree with you on this point.
Six and a half minutes off the clock by UCLA on that possession. Exactly when Bo's defense couldn't afford to. Well, three TDs in the last 2 minutes. Or even an FG.
"Twenty eight points in 2nd Qtr the most ever given up in any quarter in Lincoln." Something Bo can be proud of, indeed. "My name in the record book!!"
