  1. Another important comparison is to compare our economic performance to our peer countries. Business is tough in a lot of places, but I can al.ost guarantee that America's businesses are facing fewer problems and have better outlooks than almost anywhere in the world right now.
  2. Most of the Republican Party think Biden cheated to beat the biggest moron in American history in 2020. They've concocted an alternate reality to live in, it's no wonder they disapprove of his Presidency. They don't think even won. Nevertheless, we should be collectively thankful that the economy is actually doing quite well and that the vibes of Conservatives aren't affecting decisions.
  3. These people are so unbelievably stupid. However low your opinion is of the average Republican voter, drastically lower it into the abyss to accurately formulate an opinion on them.
  4. Yet half the voting base of this moronic party believe the election was stolen.
  5. This is probably the most accurate description, well done. This next election is going to be extremely close, with one candidate facing prison time getting within 50k votes of winning. Republicans are beyond saving. There isn't anything we can collectively do to help them.
  6. The people watching are also adults, eager to have their worldview confirmed. Instead of blaming Fox News for turning their viewers' brains into mashed potatoes, plays blame the viewers for having mashed potatoes for brains. That doesn't mean Fox News isn't at fault, but all too often we refuse to blame the voters down the street or who live next door. We need to stop coddling adults and giving stupid people an out for their actions.
  7. Yeah, getting indicted in a 3rd criminal investigation is bad - but have you heard about Hillary's emails or Hunter Biden's laptop and the Big Guy? As a principled and Patriotic Republican voter, I see both sides just as bad here. On one hand, you have Republicans trying to undermine the greatest Democracy in history, on the other side you have JOE BRANDON'S DEEP STATE CABAL following and enforcing laws as they are written on even the wealthy and powerful! Ask yourself this: if they are willing to treat somebody as powerful and connected as Trump like this for the simple act of committing multiple felonies, what would they do to us common folk if we committed multiple felonies?! I rest my case.
  8. Imagine the meltdown if this was a Democrat. Republicans are such an absolute joke. The only thing worse is the horde of voters that vote for them.
  9. One thing that kills me is the immense blustering by certain posters who get deep into this stuff only for their party to support a guy who's been criminally indicted numerous times. It's hilarious to watch half the country decend into an alternative reality, don't get me wrong, but talking to and watching Republican voters is truly a sight to behold. Is like watching a kid put a fork in a light socket. You warn them about it, but they look you in the eye and claim that electricity is a fake liberal plot to control them. Then they painfully shock themselves over and over. It's entertaining at a certain point.
  10. We can come up with something. How about a "Roll over your 401k into Dr. Strangelove's fund to defend America?" Or "Tax Refunds for Trump"? There are a lot of options!
  11. Why release a transcript if you can just anger-farm for the next 15 months? I agree with the overall post, but I think it's unfair to say that JB is just okay, I think it's a pretty phenomenal job given the circumstances, the razor thin legislative majorities they had to work with during the first term, and an opposition party that has a political base that does not live in reality. I don't think the accomplishments could reasonably be better.
  12. This is not sad news and it's unsurprising. They were told to get the vaccine, they refused, and had a higher rate of death as a result. I'm not going to feel bad about people making stupid decisions and paying the consequences.
  13. The fact that these people are entrenched within the Republican establishment and get hired in droves by Republican candidates is the real problem here.
  14. When Mike "Smoking Isn't Harmful" Pence is running 3rd behind a guy with the charisma of a cardboard box and the twice impeached, multiple felony indicted disgraced stain on history, you know it's an absolutely all star lineup to choose from.
  15. My biggest regret of the Trump Era is not getting in on the grift. Look, we all screamed into the void that Trump was an obviously corrupt moron who's only interest is enriching himself. But his voters are gullible rubes who want to be grifted. I regret not getting in on the action. The good news is the chances of Trump winning are 50% so there's still time to come up with a scheme.
  16. I sincerely hope Hunter Biden finds the courage to step down from his role within the United States government.
  17. MAGA Disciples aren't typically in great shape. I hope this happens just because of how funny it would be.
  18. Sorry everybody, I've come to the conclusion after reading Archy1221's posts that humanity deserves what's going to happen to it in the next 200 years. These people are impervious to facts and are allergic to confronting reality. Most concerning, after voting for Trump twice, these people are more motivated than ever to return to a voting booth.
  19. It kills me that you post a scientist that says something you like, but that you ignore the OVERWHELMING voices that disagree with you. Absolutely hilarious.
  20. A variety of things. Could be a feedback loop undiscovered, a runaway problem slowly accelerating in the background until a breaking point has now been reached. Ecological and environmental collapse doesn't happen linearly. A collapse in one system can lead to a rapid collapse in another that depends on it, a chain reaction with terrible consequences. Such feedback loops, especially those regarding climate, happens and become understood. Whatever is happening in Ocean temperatures right now should be extremely alarming. This is so far beyond what should be happening, even for the most doom and gloom climate models, that this is on the verge of ecologic catastrophe. I mean, it was in his own tweet. His claim was that solar panels are dirty, that scientists are lying about them, and he's doing so to speak to a crowd that he wants to believe - falsely - that climate change isn't as bad as claimed and we can just work to combat it. I pointed out that he KNOWS that solar PV production is being moved to the United States at a record pace and that he KNOWS that even in the worst case scenario that the "carbon debt" in the production of solar panels is quickly "paid" multiple times over during their service life. So I apologize if I insulted you, but you seem to be willingly ignoring what he's doing. I get you want to make sense of the world and in doing so, you want to believe that things are fine - climate is ever changing after all - and that human behavior doesn't cause climate change. But this isn't exactly a debate in science right now. Agreement is extremely widespread. Get with the rest of the world.
  21. You're going to be absolutely shocked at the answer.
  22. Exactly. You being intentionally dense is a sight to behold. I'll leave this here. The collapse in certain areas of the world is extreme and goes beyond what even the most pessimistic climate model predicts. There seems to be some unknown barrier we've crossed, hopefully just temporarily. This is profoundly wrong. But why believe hundreds of scientists, decades of research, and your own eyes when you can just "think not"?
