    A school's conference tournament is a scheduled event. You are guaranteed a spot in it. You are not guaranteed a spot in the NCAA Tournament or NIT until after you are selected.

    If a writer's photo accompanies a story it is generally considered to be opinionated in nature. Any facts referenced should still be researched and accurate. On the other hand straight news stories and investigative pieces will feature only a byline and may be copyrighted.

    No doubt about it that was a tremendous effort by all of our guys in the last 5 minutes or so in regulation and in overtime. They simply refused to be beaten. Glad for all of them!

    There is so much negativity surrounding the NU football program right now that someone could cut it with a knife. This honestly feels like a bad stock market at the bottom of a correction just before things start getting better. I hope all of this negativity is a contrary indicator and that we get a win this Saturday. Heaven knows we could use one.
