I want to see Mike Riley succeed. But if the Huskers do collapse and have another 5-7 regular season in 2017...it would be a difficult case to make justifying a 4th year. My expectations for this team are 3 losses or less. Let's start by breaking the 4 loss "curse." You're in for a big let down. New defense and a new QB. These aren't little things. And you know this because you've gazed into your Palantir and saw the future? Well aware that we've installed a new defense and while Tanner Lee hasn't played a game for Nebraska, he's not a true freshman or a first time starter. So yeah we'll see some struggles, that is to be expected. Have a little optimism. I don't know why some people think our defense will be so bad. I really don't think it can be any worse than Banker's "defense".

I'm all for putting him on the field on offense every now and then. Even if we don't go to him the other team has to think we are going to him. Plus I could see him at PR and KR even though I really don't want a guy of his caliber doing KR. Yeah you walk a fine line here. Does he have the talent to do everything? Yes. You want to make sure that you use that to our best advantage. Is the best advantage to get him on the field as much as possible, or is it putting all of his focus on one thing and becoming spectacular at it? PR and KR wouldn't be that big of a stretch. On offense yes that is. But I would say he'd probably have a good shot of PR and KR.

Can't see Lee going now, he's our 2nd best CB at the moment and the guy ahead of him is a SR. Some talk Darlington will focus on his coaching career after this year. I could see a guy like Antonio Reed slipping and going. I could see a linebacker or two leavingI actually had that typed out but then got to thinking and couldn't decide who.I could as well or maybe defensive or offensive line transfer.

I think it all depends on your Coaches, QB, and maybe O-line. I think we can all agree by no means that spread offense we ran with Tommy was what they were comfortable running, but had to. Now they have people who they know can get the ball in our targets hands no doubt in my mind we are better on the offensive side of the ball.

Bears need another average LB like they need a hole in their head. Remember when people said Will Compton was average and slow? Yeah.... I thought he was a pretty darn good linebacker for us. Thought he would've looked better with two better Lb's beside him.

Junior year, Rex was fully healthy. He did miss some time as a true freshman, can't remember what his injury was then. I thought he had broke his leg or something and was out for the rest of the season.

Nothing illegal about it. I mean you don't like seeing your qb get suplexed but borland didn't do anything crazy even after the play like get in his face or anything. Wouldn't be any different when someone tries to jump over a player and they get caught and slammed back to the groundWrong. Quite a bit different Taylor Martinez holding onto the ball giving himself up and someone jumping (who obviously isn't giving them self up) two completely different circumstances. I agree. But everything I've seen from recruiting guys and even Tavita's tweets are still suggesting TE. I don't think it's a bad idea just to bring him in as the sole TE and see what happens from there. I think the progress of the young guys...Stoll, Englehaupt, and Snyder this spring may allow the coaches to do that. Throw in Allen and Rafdal and young got a good young core that allows you to skip this class and take 1-2 next year. I think Stoll Englehaupt and Snyder will all be good. Agree with Jurgens to OLB he'd be scary.

I'm a fan of those lateral passes especially since we have a QB who can hit them quick in stride. Gives us a play of having a guy in space and we have plenty of speedy playmakers who could make something happen. (Wilbon, Speilman, Bryant, DPE, Mazour, hell even add Stan take him 1 on 1 with a corner he's got a mean stiff arm)

So pretty much if Nebraska doesn't get another 4 star this class then it will be equal to Bo's. Bo usually got 3-5 4 stars. I see us getting atleast two more. Wish we could be getting some higher rated guys on the O-line as that's my biggest concern.
