  1. Best quarter for a while as far as I can remember.
  2. Chubba channeling his inner Brock. Can we invite Brock to the Iowa game next week to watch his brother.
  3. I love our D…do you see what some good offense can do to energize our D even more than usual.
  4. Don’t think of it as a zero, think of it as an O
  5. Someone call stone cold’s wife and tell her to keep him in the garage and away from the TV.
  6. Where was that all year long? Could it be that they are playing loose since the chance to win the west is no longer valid? Whatever it is, just bottle it up for next week.
  7. Is this Chubba or his brother brock purdy playing?
  8. Is stone cold watching? May be he was a bad luck charm. Keep working in your garage…
  9. We really need this win as the Iowa game is not a guarantee. Say what you want about Iowa, they play to their strengths and they find a way to squeeze the win. I feel like our guys will have a much better chance of winning the Iowa game if they win the Wisconsin game because they would have secured a bowl bid. If they lose today, all pressure will shift to the Iowa game.
  10. I stopped worrying about the laughing emojis a long time ago. Some people on this board can’t handle opinions that contradict theirs and the only way they can be passive aggressive about it is through the laughing emoji. I am sure I will get at least 2 laughing emojis for this post. As for what you wrote, I agree with your comment. It is not a question of our players not playing hard. It is a question of talent. We just do not have enough talent on offense. Our QBs are not good, our OL is doing slightly better than last year but still needs much improvement, our WRs and TEs are not talented. The team is playing hard and I do not see any quit in them but if you do not have a talented QB to run your offense, there is not much you can do. Emmett Johnson has been one of the bright spots this season. I hope he plays well against Wisconsin.
  11. So, is the Aaron Rodgers comment that hurt your feelings? Do you agree with the rest of the statements? What about costly turnovers? Is that also a hyperbole? I am just trying to get a sense of what exactly hurt your feelings so I stop doing it.
  12. Unfortunately, our Huskers over the last decade have shown that no matter how bad our opponent is performing, we seem to find a way to make them look like world beaters. Look at Michigan state. They were 2-6 when they faced us and I thought it would be a win and we found a way to give the game away. We have had very little success in Wisconsin. They will be ready for us and they will win a close one, probably 10-7 or 13-10. After all, they are also fighting for bowl eligibility. As for Iowa, they seem to always play to their strengths. We should be able to win but given the recent struggles on offense, it is looking like we might end up with a 5-7 record. I would hate to miss out on a bowl game when we are so close but that depends on whether our offense decides to come out and play hard and eliminate turnovers. Fingers crossed.
  13. We can try and sugarcoat it as much as we want, but the reality is that the only bright spot of our offense has been the emergence of Emmett Johnson. Other than EJ who has been running with purpose, our offense is amongst the worst and most boring offenses in all of FBS and FCS. The truth of the matter is that if it hadn’t been for our defense playing lights out, we would be 2-8 right now. Our OL, although somewhat improved from last year, is still subpar. We do not have a QB, our TE is one and done type of player, and our WRs have butterfingers. And to top it all, we have an OC that does not understand the strengths and weaknesses of his offense. Sometimes it feels like he thinks he has Aaron Rodgers for QB. We substituted costly penalties with costlier turnovers. At this point, can anyone really see this offense scoring 20 points in a game? If any of the above is not true then you are definitely not “keeping it real”.
  14. Trust me when I say that I pray to God that I am wrong. If you really think for a second that I do not want my Huskers to win then you are delusional. However, based on the last two games coupled with the fact that Wisconsin needs a win to get bowl eligible and the fact that we do not have a QB. The writing is on the wall. But I really really really hope I am wrong.
  15. We are NOT BEATING WISCONSIN IN WISCONSIN. Not with this offense anyway and not with the clowns we call QBs. It will come down to the Iowa game on thanksgiving. First to 10 points wins that game.
  16. I know some on here hate it when we blame Satterfield but this loss is on him. Now, that does not mean that our players have no blame in this loss. They do. At some point, Kemp batted the pass down as if he was playing volleyball (WTH). However, when your team is 5 yards away from scoring and going ahead with less than 3 minutes to go, you play to your strengths and make sure you get away with at least 3 points. What you don’t do is think that a 3rd string QB can win the game for you with a pass when your first two QBs could not pass the ball to save their lives. Satterfield is the driver here. If you know that your car has two bum wheels and s#!tty brakes, you do not drive 80 mph. Satterfield trying to pass when all you need to do is be safe and get the 3 points to give your team the lead and lean on your D to win the game for you, why not do that? He is not a good OC regardless of the talent on the team. You play to your strengths and Satt does not know how to do that.
  17. We aspire to be Iowa as much as we hate them. They are 8-2. We can't get a win to get to a toilet bowl after a 9 year absence.
