  1. Did you miss the part about where TA basically didn't listen to him most of the year. How can you help someone if they will not listen to you? Just like me trying to help you understand, but you not listening. So Langs had one year with him and Beck had how many?? Depends on how you want to look at it. Beck was here when TA was a True Freshman and then he was kind of thrown in as a redshirt freshman and then the sophomore year. So the one on one time Beck spent with TA with Martinez still on the team leads me to believe it was about the same amount of time as Langsdorf this year. Ever heard can't teach an old dog new tricks? Beck had TA for three years to work on footwork and reads, regardless if he's a backup or not.

  3. Seemed to have all the talent in the world coming out of high school and could just never put it together
  4. Not sure how anyone would say Beck is a better developer than Langsdorf...Who has Beck ever developed?? Had arguably two QBs that would start on any team in the NCAA and still found a way to make them worse than last year
  5. Then add Fitzpatrick, Farniok, Ivy, and Jackson and call it a class! Should be an interesting finish
  6. Lets say we pull in Tony Butler, Pernell Jefferson, Devron Davis, and Collin Miller. How many more spots would we have open?
  7. Give me someone who has that chip on their shoulder to go with that hard work!
  8. Between him and Alex Davis I'm hoping for big things
  9. I would first start with TO's option attack...I would employ some of Tom Hermans offense with a little bit of Paul Johnsons to go along with some Art Briles as well. Seems like multiple philosopies to me
  10. Well since you wanted to bring up cross fit. Here is how they feel about why "full" stanches are important http://www.tabatatimes.com/why-we-snatch/ The cult weighs in. Excellent. Anyway, here's the perspective of someone who trains pro atheletic: https://footballbeyondthestats.wordpress.com/2014/04/05/just-say-no-to-olympic-lifts-at-least-for-nfl-players/ Why didn't we just hire you over Mark Philipp and Boyd Epley.....What was the athletic department thinking?? You could have been HC, OC, DC, Strength Coach as well as recruiting coordinator

  12. You'd be crazy to not love the kind of offense Michigan state has? What system would you use? I know the forward pass is something a lot of the older fans (50+) can't stand...it is what it is I'm in my 30s. Which happens to be about as good as Michigan states offense ranks year in and year out. Ok well you still didn't answer my question about the type of offense you would use I returned to the principles of what TO ran. That system would still work well today, and you can still recruit to it. I'd borrow concepts from what Herman is doing (especially what he does in the ground game) and what Paul Johnson does. I'd also study what Baylor does more closely. I find it impressive that they could basically be down to a WR at QB and still be productive. I would like to keep my run to pass ratio at 70%+/30%- as much as possible. There are no silver bullet systems, but there are some systems that definitely lend themselves to success at different schools, based mainly on what recruiting base that school has. So you want to be multiple? I thought that word was a word taboo around here

  14. If we do that we never get a RG4. I have no problem with signing day. These kids are 17-18 they are very impressionable and can be swayed easily.
  15. Well that answers my question then.......He won't be recruiting
  16. I don't see the big deal about it staying........It's the offseason what else are we going to talk about besides conference realignment
  17. Not that Rudd isn't a good coach but I struggle to see what area he will recruit? Unless UCF turns into the next Ohio, Wyoming, South Dakota State ect
  18. Where's the end of the world crowd? You know the ones who would find a way to complain after we win the national championship
