  1. I think that's harsh. We should take him out for ice cream and give him a participation award, plus the millions he'll be getting still from UNL.
  2. If he doesn't stay, who will buy them ice cream after the games?
  3. Exactly. And I heard Riley post game, and he obviously had no hope of winning (with his comments it was obvious). Under that leadership, I wouldn't expect them to be pumped or excited either.
  4. Here's what my 5 second google search said
  5. I KNOW! At that point we were driving home from the game and when I said that I went "amen!" Lol
  6. Oh. Em. Gee. Davison is so far beyond done. I'm just so glad he's as pissed as I am. Says that they don't deserve the fan base we have.
  7. You can dislike Riley and also not like Bo. It's not mutually exclusive to either train of thought. Also, would you prefer to keep Riley? Not sure what your comment does except... well... except nothing...
  8. I was just being cheeky cause it's how I cope with overwhelming disappointment and sadness. Lol
  9. What other kinds of defenses are there? Wouldn't this just mean they're bad at defense?
  10. I was at the game, I don't think they were scared, they had accepted defeat. Not to mention, the energy during the tunnel walk was lacking and the players didn't look near as pumped as usual. Imho, of course.
  11. Did you hear him post game? You could tell he thought we had absolutely no shot at winning. How are you supposed to effectively coach your team up when you go in with the attitude that there's no way you can win? It's okay though, I'm sure he took them all out for ice cream and gave them participation awards.
  12. I was at this game. And what I learned is that the fans, coaches, players, and just about everyone were ready for disappointment from the very beginning. I kept hearing fans say, "I just hope we aren't embarrassed," or "If we could just make it competitive, I'll be happy," and I got to thinking... this is how broken our program is. There is something wrong with everyone going in with a defeatist attitude. We had good seats for this, and all around us were bleachers. THERE IS A PROBLEM WHEN A FAN BASE THAT IS AS DEDICATED AS HUSKER FANS HAS TONS OF EMPTY SEATS FROM KICKOFF. And by the end of the 3rd, we were like an island in a city of metal seats. Fans shouldn't feel like they have to release the balloons when we get our second 1st down. We stayed through the 3rd quarter, and my spirit was so worn down that I just couldn't stay. I'm hoarse, I yelled and cheered as long as I could and I love Husker football so much. But this isn't Husker football. It's not that I think Riley is a bad person, he's a very likeable guy, but he is not right for this program. Period.
  13. I learned that the team is a broken as the coaches hired to "fix" it.
  14. I can't wait. Next year will be awesome. but he may need more time. I bet in 3 years we will all look back on this and laugh.
  15. Hope is a dagger. Idk why I keep hoping they'll do better.
  16. That INT was awful. He didn't lead the receiver and the D read it the whole time. I don't think it was all his fault, but he's at fault. The real question is if you have a mistake prone quarterback, WHY would you give him throws where a pick 6 is likely? That type of throw leaves no one to grab the defender.
  17. Looking better on offense. Love seeing ozigbo run
