me and my roomie didn't know if we wanted to go up to omaha or not for the game. we decided to, and im glad we did. It was a great game, and buckman's second homer was outrageous! I hate to use that old line but "it was gone as soon as it left the bat." It was HUGE.

I am thinking about bringing my expensive rig with my telephoto and 2x but i don't know if i wanna mess with that much stuff with 60,000 crammed into 53,000 worth of space.

Heard from a friend who knows Joba, and he said Joba's tricep was still hurting him during his outing on friday. I don't know whether this was the culprit or whether it was a bad day, but I really hope he gets over this soon. We need him to stay strong.

I agree he can get bigger, but I am still not inclined to believe he is "weak armed." He isn't flexing, and he isn't a huge guy. He will have a hard time getting to look like T.O, but I don't think the size of his biceps will determine the level of success this year (I am not implying anyone said this). You don't drop passes because of your arm size. You catch with your hands. Holding on due to a big hit....could be another story. But its not like mulkey or swift or anyone else is stacked. Just more food for thought and conversation.

I don't know if that picture does terrance nunn justice. I know he could be bigger, but i played a pick up game with him, and he is pretty ripped. He will never be huge, hes got a smaller frame, but his hands are among the best I have ever seen. he caught every ball close to him, and it took four of us to corral his speed. He is one hell of an athlete. I am not saying i wouldn't like to see him bigger, stronger, or faster, and i know you guys aren't saying he isn't strong, I was just adding some insight. 5-2 we lost. hooray! I was there, shirek didn't look great. We got lead-off men on base but couldn't move them around. THey threw their ace and he looked great.

ya i got it, it was pretty good. Kinda long (6 mins) but I enjoyed it. Ill see if i deleted it or not, if i still have the link, ill put it up.

That's what happens when you leave 12 men on base. I went to all 3 games, and we didn't play bad, we just didn't plate the men when we needed to. 7-6 is a tough way to lose, but we had a great series overall.

to clarify, Kiper had Taylor in his top five "senior" quarterbacks next year. Still not too shabby.

Didn't Mel Kiper have Taylor listed as number 5 for senior (or other) quarterbacks? Pretty sure i saw something like that. I don't know if i would go as far as heisman contender, but he should have a great year. I don't see why he couldn't have all big 12 numbers. Defenders drop picks, receivers drop touchdowns, it happens both ways. The fact is that Zac will have a more experienced line in front of him, a better core of receivers to catch the balls, and another year with a tough system. He should be improved, and have a better statistical year. I expect nothing less.

tough schedule, great teams. We have a lot of rising stars or potential stars suiting up, and i would say i am pretty gosh-darned pumped for the second biggest screen in north america staring me in the face when i watch those big red touchdown replays from south stadium. I can hear the tunnel walk music already!! There really is no place like Nebraska. (in my humble opinion, of course.)

totally agree. I love the game, awesome every year and it continues to get better. I spend way too much time playing it. I would recommend the new college baseball game too. Its great.

He is exactly what you would expect him to be. He is a great guy, and super humble from the couple times i have met him. Got his autograph after the alamo bowl. He stood there for a long time while he signed for fans, took pictures, and gave fans hugs.

ya i hear your point, but i don't think we really had much interest in him. Whether that was good or bad, time will tell. I wouldn't be too concerned with k state stealing everybody...yet.

i totally agree. I don't think this is a trned to continue for years to come. I am happy overall with the production of the Juco's and i think they will have a better showing this year. Look at Taylor and octavien, Bowman from last year to lead our team. Can't complain to much about these guys, even though octavien has yet to play much.
