  1. I would gladly attend, but I don't have anything to add/help with parking. I am hoping this happens.
  2. This is the beginning of my fifth and final year as a student here, and this means my last year of going to every game-unless someone wills me their tickets!! I will be taking a friend to his first Husker game, even though he grew up in Lincoln and attends the University. I can't wait, and I always get goose bumps the first tunnel walk of the year. I will be screaming for all of you that can't make it. GBR
  3. Talked to him in the spring...He said he'd be back. Don't have much else info as we didn't talk much about it. Hope that helps
  4. normally the Saturday morning of "Big Red Welcome"- or the weekend before school starts.
  5. voted. Texas A&M is the only one putting up a fight.
  6. Going into the bottom of the 5th the score is 16-4 Huskers. We just had a 13 run inning where we batted 18 men. That's right through the order twice. Two of our outs were sac flies.
  7. I don't know. I am a student and they scanned my N Card, but a couple of friends went through and they didn't scan or click them in. I think it could have been a lot more than the reported, but who knows.
  8. 10$ makes a difference to the University when it is multiplied by 80,000. I was just saying we should have a sellout even though our spring game isn't free. I think it is a fine price to ask. My point was saying our fans show up free or not.
  9. Thanks for the head's up on the link, and thanks for the good wishes. Welcome to the board. Be sure to keep visiting and posting with us here. I have a feeling we will beat 78k. The seats are sold out, and they came at 10 bucks a pop. We would have half the state if the game was free. Good luck on your upcoming season, as well.
  10. Finished at 19-2 for all those wondering. So much for Baseball America's series of the week.
  11. We are not going to win the world series, but this is the time of year every fan of every team has HOPE that their team will somehow improve and make a post-season march. BTW the royals started like 9-0 a few years ago with no series win. The royals are not very experienced at winning, and they play in a tough division, but at least they got the season off to a good start and they have fans supporting them.
  12. final was 12-3 Texas. Only 1 loss and 1 tie after playing Oklahoma, Texas, and Kstate. Not too bad guys!
  13. I have been impressed around the whole diamond so far this year. I am not going to jinx myself by saying too much, so I will just say I am "cautiously optimistic." Go Big Red.
  14. I am attending because I am taking a coaching class on campus. It is actually an assignment for me. That'll be a tough one...I can't wait to see how he runs it.
  15. I will be attending a practice or two...or more I can't wait to see how everything goes down.
  16. Paul is a high class and high character guy, and I am so happy to see him doing well. He is a personal friend, and one of the most genuine guys I know. Here's to him continuing his success and helping as a leader of the team next year.
  17. I've seen Dusty at a few meets this year. We have two of the best high jumpers here in the big 12. Glad to see him do so well- and thanks to MUtigerfan for posting it.
  18. Just clear your cookies and refresh page...then you don't have to go to different computers. It works.
  19. I love me some famous Dave's. You better like BBQ if you want to go there, though. I think it is great. I could make a meal out of the cornbread muffins alone.
  20. Great article. I really hope he has a breakout year. He has a long career ahead of him, and it would be stupid to judge him by his first year. He came on strong towards the last part of the season.
  21. I am crying inside...and a little outside, too.
  22. It does allow you to clear your cookies, reload the page, and vote again...Just to save some people trips to multiple computers.
  23. yes, sorry, I guess that would make him a RS Junior going into next year. He told me he would have two more years. Here's hoping he stays healthy. Wagner always said he was our most versatile lineman. We'll see.
  24. Christensen is very much NOT gone. He will be a RS senior this year, and will possibly have a medical redshirt after that. He tore his ACL at the USC game last year and was our starting RG. He could also play center in the future. He is a friend of mine.
