USA won the 100m in the women's race as well. Also a great finish. Very disappointed the USA men only ended up with only a silver in the men's shot. Crouser didn't have a great day.

I think a 1000 yard rusher is still awesome. They only negative today to that statement is that there are more games. But, this is also true. Way more passing today. Many teams like to use multiple rushers to keep guys healthy. I really think it is more of a complicated question than you think. Offenses have changed.

This years OL has a tremendous opportunity to do awesome things this year. Tanner Lee will help them out. There should be no excuses. We will be better at center and we are experienced. Gates said he is embarrassed by his bowl performance. Our back-ups also seem to be more talented as well. Can't wait to see if this group exceeds expectations. If they do, the rest of the B1G West will be in the rear view mirror! Go Big Red!

I am not surprised by the deal. The only place I wanted to go was UA. Nike only gives max money to a few schools. My guess is Adidias was the best deal. Adidias is now cool with the kids. My HS became an Adidias school a few months ago. Adidias has been hitting it hard with HS. It is cool again. I think UA is now second. Nike has become yesterday's news. I know it is hard to believe. Talking with AAU coaches, they like Adidias better. If you told me this 18 months ago I wouldn't believe it.

I am not just talking about the higher ups, I am talking about perception. That is what this is really all about is perception. Again, I live in Ohio. These people want Nebraska back. My Wolverine friends, who are much like Husker fans, want Nebraska back. What I have heard them say is if the Blue Bloods all become Blue Bloods (Michigan, tOSU, PSU and Nebraska) The B1G will reign supreme. I think Michiganball is jiving with me on this item. I understand where are are coming from, I just see it a little differetnly. I think it is about National perception. And a Dominate Husker team, I can live with that!

The B1G as a whole could care less if we start finishing towards the bottom if Wisconsin continues to be the crown jewel of the West and say Minnesota starts contending for the conference title. As long as 2-3 teams control each division every year the balance is there. Disagree, not what I hear around me. The Buckeye and Wolverine fans I am around long for it. It is one of the reasons they wanted us outside of money. Without it we are just like the SEC. My point is nobody else in the west sands Wisky is capable of it. If Minny gets hot under Fleck, he will move on quickly.

Who do you think it will be? I would like it to OZ. But it might be Bryant. Not sure Wilbon has the focus yet. I haven't had the pleasure of watching Bradley yet, but Benning loves him, at least in HS>

In order to bring balance in the conference and also take us to the big stage as a conference. There is very few programs in the west able to do it. Maybe only Wisky.

I see where you are going with that, but we can only deal with what happened on the field. Problem is that we have dealt with some dysfunction play by us for the last several years. Iowa should not have been number 2 and we should not have laid eggs in the last two games. If we play like we can, we dominate the B1G west and make the conference much better! GBR!!

We need someone to separate and be the man. Oz looks the part when healthy. The when healthy has been the problem.

Going off last year, it is hard to say with the B1G west, we took it on the chin from head to head from Tennessee and Florida.

B1G needs us to be on top of the West to bring the conference to the top. If we can dominate the west and be a top 10 team, it helps. We need balance in the conference.

Consistent QB passing play will go a long way. I think we are going to be improved. Trying to cut into coach speak.

Just think, like 10 years ago Bama fans were basically where we are... We need consistency in a head coach and staff, but first we needed a good head coach.

I know that I do. The landscape has changed. But, I still think we can still get back to where we are.
