  1. Maybe Nana had conflicts with "lots of" teammates or Burke is exaggerating.
  2. Nana? They seem to be playing better since he's been suspended.
  3. All (most?) 100 level and club seats are owned by season ticket holders so they were offered to them first. If they declined, they become available to the public.
  4. It's basically a test of playing quarters without actually playing quarters. If they changed to quarters (like EVERY other basketball league in the universe), they would be 10 minutes & every foul after 5 would be two shots. Since they haven't figured out media timeouts with 10 minute quarters, they are doing it this way.
  5. He did warm up for the Wisconsin game, but still couldn't make cuts. If he is available, I would guess it wouldn't be much more than 10-15 minutes.
  6. Maybe we'll get a chance to boo Barry Collier again.
  7. Add the game at Rutgers as games they should have won.
  8. I'm at work so it's hard to get on message boards & it seems like every one is going back & forth on why Miles should/shouldn't be fired. btw the line is up to WI by 8.5
  9. Maybe Nana was the problem. They have played better since he was suspended.
  10. All of our computer numbers look good (45 KenPom, 52 NET, 37 ESPN BPI) so if we can finish above .500 there's a chance. One win guarantees a winning record. I did read today that of the 11 conference tournaments that have ended the #1 seed has only won two. That doesn't help NU since the NIT guarantees a slot to any regular season champ that doesn't make the NCAA's because they lost in the conference tournament. Gonzaga will be in, Belmont should be in, but the other seven will end up in the NIT. That leaves 25 spots.
  11. I know this doesn't really go with the 2019 tournament, but it's interesting for future tournaments. https://www.omaha.com/huskers/blogs/big-ten-willing-to-consider-omaha-for-league-basketball-tournament/article_bff7f334-26aa-55d6-98af-b3aaf9ffd876.html
  12. I would guess that Thor will start & Trueblood will be the first off the bench. Hopefully Tanner & Roby get their bigs in foul trouble instead of the other way around. If either (or both) Roby/Tanner have to sit with fouls, we could be in more trouble than we already are.
  13. They were both in the same class as Watson so they'd be seniors this year. Instead they are fourth year juniors at ISU & Marquette after sitting out last year as transfers.
  14. Jacobson would have helped more than Morrow.
  15. I don't think an NIT invitation is out of the question if the beat Rutgers on Wednesday. Their NET is 52, they are 45 at KenPom, 36 in ESPN's BPI with a SOR of 58 so the computer numbers are good enough. I'm not sure they'd accept a bid, but it could come.
  16. I put it up there with not knowing the difference between their, there & they're.
  17. FBI isn't talking to local media, but I'm sure there are national media outlets that have "sources".
  18. Not necessarily. I suspect that if (when?) Miles is fired, he's gone. If, through some miracle, Miles stays he'll be back.
  19. I agree that he's a good coach, but do you think he'd take a job right after Miles was fired? I know it's a step up from USU and a lot more money, but I don't see him taking a job right after Miles was fired.
  20. I would be surprised if Smith took the job since Miles is his mentor.
  21. ESPN's take on what jobs will be available. For Nebraska they are thinking Lue, Otzelberger (SD State), Oats (Buffalo) and Altman http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/insider/story/_/id/26151080/every-job-coach-keep-eye-on
