  1. It blew me away....NFL Lineman chiming in.
  2. That's how it was when I played and coached. Assignments change, but it shouldn't change up your bread and butter. College linemen should know how to block a certain play against any front and any tech. Frost is letting the DC of the opposing team dictate wayyyyyy too much it sounds like.
  3. He f#&%ing said this out loud!? The only reason you’d admit this is if you’re actively trying to get canned…unbelievable
  4. Part of me says, f#&% it, hand the keys to an option coach. It will be fun for the fans, it's hard to prep for. Hell Paul Johnson won 6+ games 82% of his time at GT and even went to 2 Orange Bowls. If we're not gonna be National Championship Nebraska, lets at least be Option Football Nebraska.
  5. That was me. He was the other candidate when we hired Frost. He was 19-8 with a top 20 and top 25 finish at the time. Obviously not as a candidate now, but at the time was a hot name who was interested in the Nebraska job - just debunking the fact 'no one would want to come coach at Nebraska'.
  6. Frost like you mentioned, was one of the hottest coaching names in the country. Fuente was interested at the time, and at the time was highly thought of. When we hired Riley, Beilema and Chryst were both interested but for some reason Eichorst just wanted Riley. When we hired Bo, Osborne was laser focused on Bo and Gill. There has been decent options, and if a change is made, there will be decent options.
  7. I heard Damon make this point on the radio and it stuck with me. There is notable lack of trust between players and coaches. Especially on offense. Morrison is told he has an awesome camp and is in the mix for the top spot, he doesn't get a carry. Rahmir is not brought up at all, becomes the lead back in crunch time. Betts is told he has an awesome camp, doesn't play a snap outside special teams. Frost wants to be a physical downhill running team, passes on 3rd and short. Frost wants to cut down on the QB runs to keep AM healthy, AM runs 5+ more times than any of the RBs. Frost's words are empty and players know it. I'm not surprised most of our attrition comes from one side of the ball. There is no consistency on what they want the offense to be, he never puts in motion the words that come out of his mouth.
  8. I mean Frost didn't even want to go play in Norman this year anyways.
  9. I realize this is an extreme and would never happen. I'd s#!tcan Frost right now, put Chins in charge because his side of the ball (though not perfect) actually showed improvement since year 1, and his players actually show emotion. I'd promote Busch to full time ST coordinator and tell him to try and make chicken salad outta chicken s#!t. Give Lubick full reigns of offense and see if he can't find some type of identity, because that side of the ball looks broken behind repair. Basically one last drastic effort to save this thing before entirely hitting reset.
  10. I may have been drinking. But after tonight I’m kinda thinking the violations might have come from in house to stack the deck and get out of a buyout. I’m thinking a booster might have seen the writing on the wall.
  11. Guys Scott is just a s#!tty coach. There isn’t some conspiracy. Guy just hasn’t figured it out. It happens, he’s in over his head. I think Scott Frost and Nebraska would both benefit from a break up…
  12. He had that opportunity and he hired a yes man that worked for a bank. His ego is too big to make wholesale changes.
  13. This is the dumbest take, I’m not sure where it keeps coming from.
  14. I see Cam felt the need to chirp at Illinois after the game. Quite the culture Frost has built. Play like a$$ and chirp after you lose.
  15. I said it months ago. My list would be Monken, Gus, Venables.
  16. Frost is the problem at this point because he refuses to address it. Maybe he can hire another buddy working at a bank.
  17. Glad we finally have the dudes on the OLine…they’ve been softer than baby s#!t.
  18. I swear if we lose to Illinois with a first year coach, and a back up QB. Frost shouldn’t see Monday.
  19. All the hot seat talk was cute this off-season. If we don’t remove our heads from our asses in the next half hour, we’re gonna see real hot seat talk.
