  1. The top 25 HS QBs will be competing in @Elite11: The Finals part 2 are on ESPN at 6 PM.

Yep, dude's a stud. I'd bet a lot of money that between Armstrong and Stanton, one of those guys will pan out and be damn good QBs.

  2. I'm thinking about all the "crap" "fans" have said on here ... all the rumors, the opinions, the reaction .... so glad you are not a coach or associated with the program. You would have blown up this whole situation. At this point I'm more disgusted with this fan base then anything I have "heard" about Tryler Moore. Sad.
  3. Poor lads ... this is an official meltdown. Anyone embarrassed yet? Geez .... lots of hot air from those that "know so much". "Remain calm ... all is well!"
  4. My thought would be the staff has to basically move forward as if this guy is not a commit. We are looking at it from a fan perspective obviously.
  5. Did I even say "conspiracy"? :-) I said "bias". A good thought someone has LSU QB.
  6. Watched it for the second time last night. For me, the ESPN bias is obvious as after the editing you would think they would highlight those that really stood out. You would have thought with Stanton on top that the editing for the show would give you a feel for who was more at the top. I knew from twitter reports that Stanton was doing well but it sure wasn't reflected in the show.
  7. I did not expect to win this one. Very nice. This helps one of our misses so kudos to the Husker staff.
  8. My son has played in several tennis tournaments at Prosper High. You would all be amazed at the baseball and football complex. It is very nice. They even have an indoor football practice facility that exceeds some universities. They ran out of money and put no lights on the tennis courts. That one doesn't surprise me.
  9. I can't see this class being "huge" even with those mentioned Fowler. USC and Michigan have "huge" classes. Right now we look to have an average class comparing it to others. At best it looks to be a Top 20 class and not any better least from a star aspect. We have seemed to miss out on the bigger fish which we all know is pretty normal.
  10. Hey Zack, look at your name ... HA :bigredn: O !
  11. Ya, but that's the point ... their are "rules" ... then their are NCAA rules" ... then their are "U$C rules" ... and they seem to even bypass all of them. Seems like the Bush scandal was actually installed to help their recruiting. It's only gotten better since they have their "discipline" instituted ... who does that?
  12. What do you mean about full? You're talking Lane Kiffin. Here come mysterious transfers, players leaving the program... I agree ... expect U$C to take 22 recruits this year. They seem to take three or four more then anyone ever thought they could.
  13. You guys painted all the "corners" on the issue. Lots of good thoughts all the way around ... and you even brought us back to the recruit. DTrain, I appreciated the original post and tend to see them as true on this board.
  14. Yep CMT1525, sounds like a heavy lean to ARK to me ... "smiling" saying, “I'm not going to say anything right there,” Hannon said smiling. “But I'm just going to say it's always good to come down to Arkansas. That's all I'm going to say.” This is what he said before your quote. Not good.
  15. So, a question for those that know our staff the best ... where does our staff rate against others in developing QB talent? Are we gonna bring this kid in and make him into a Pro prospect or is he just gonna do it on his own?
  16. It could be as simple as this --- Michigan is trending up. They play hard, have been winning and their future is bright. They ripped NU last year and, if I were their coach, I'd simply state that NU is not trending up and Michigan is --- and that Michigan has a vastly superior recruiting class relative to NU both this year and last --- so that they likely will be pulling even more ahead of NU with time . Seems, actually, quite a simple recruiting sell. Michigan is upwardly mobile and heading places. I am not at all surprised that NU loses out to Michigan for a recruit.. they (Michigan) likely would get the player in the vast, vast majority of cases --- for reasons quite clear. We can win those recruiting battles if a special relationship between the player and our coaches arises... and there are legitimate and good reasons to come to NU too. But NU is at a huge disadvantage recruiting against Michigan. We might win some.. but will lose most. Good stuff there sir. And, the board seems to forget that there was a relationship forged already between the recruit and UM. It sounded like in his first go around UM lost out to PSU ... so I don't get why so many seemed bewildered that he would choose UM over us with had already occurred. It sounded like NU was a place to come and compare and then confirm that UM was the place for him. To me, we should take it as a compliment that he choose to see us over the other schools in the B1G. Don't get me wrong ... I'd love to have him ... but I totally get him choosing UM.
  17. Visit on Monday is with Mizzou commits Anthony Sherrils and Nick Ramirez (who I'm sure you are all familiar with) as well as with Jamone Boyd. Sorry to come on your board and flame but posts like this are just stupid. Agreed. Ya, I don't see him gone either. I think Mizzou could actually be better then us in a few years. They will do very well in competition outside the SEC and do well in bowl games.
  18. Too bad Clemson sucks the big weiner. :-) Nice get Killer.
  19. Ya, read this on Yahoo. This might be an interesting development.
  20. Good stuff SkerChicago. Thanks for chiming in. Always enjoy your input.
  21. I agree with you CMT. I don't know about best in the nation ... but it is debatable.
  22. The post has nothing to do with being "satisfied" Fowler. And I might add, that for the "some" you refer to ... you obviously don't know me cause I'm not a negative poster on here nor am I down on our recruiting. Ratings are ratings, I had no idea Aspeedlin had love ahead of Ramirez ... how would I. I always had Ramirez higher then Love. Rivals has Love at #21 for ILB and has Ramirez at #12. Rankings vary of course. I bumped the post to show some love for a guy I wanted. Also wanted Cox. According to Rivals both Cox and Ramirez are better ranked players ... I tend to agree with Rivals. In any event, just showin' some love.
