Our time management sucks.

Iowa gets turnovers.

We need to created some turnovers on defense.

We need to not get too fancy on offense. The trick plays aren't necessary. I'm not sure who is more at fault for the fumble, the o-line or the QB, but it looked like the wrong read on a run-pass option.

This feels like the Adrian Martinez/Scott Frost situation except Jeff Simms has about a 1/3 of the talent of Martinez. The four years of Martinez was kind of maddening to watch, but you could at least kind of see why Frost liked him. Hopefully, Simms is gone after one season and not two. I think of this season as a lost season already, so I'd rather see what the other QBs on the roster and so they can develop even if they may just be backups next year for another transfer.

Sack totals don't mean remotely as much as turnovers. We still give up big yardage plays on defense and whenever the offense gives us a glimmer of hope or you need the defense to give a final stand, you can depend on the defense to finally let up. The defense is the best part of this team by far, but they aren't game changers.

He knew Rhule favored Simms and wanted to be a starter his final year of eligibility, so I don't blame him for leaving. Even if healthy the whole offseason, I think Rhule would have still picked Simms over him.

Nebraska needs to practice jumping on loose balls. Most of the time a fumble should just lead to lost yardage, but they aren't recovering most of them. We turn the ball over too much on offense and rarely get turnovers from the defense.

Hopefully, he can develop them because these embarrassing losses do nothing to help with recruiting.

Every other position has accountability. Did Grant even play today after his one fumble from last week? I'd play another QB for at least a half next week. If they suck worse than Sims then put Sims back in during the 2nd half. Sims' 7 points a game won't be hard to duplicate. We aren't making a bowl game this year and Sims won't be back next year, so see what we have in others.

You still don't reward him for 6 turnovers. You make him sit for at least one game.

Recruiting is also going to be a whole lot tougher with national tv debacles like this and the Minnesota game.

I would bench Sims, but I don't exactly feel confident in the other QBs. I just think you need accountability. Grant didn't play after 1 fumble, but Sims turned the ball over 6 times and was still out there.

He does, but Sims was his hand picked QB and that decision alone will cost us a shot at a bowl game. At the same time, Sanders and other coaches have done it quicker. If we don't make a bowl in year 2, that will be telling.

We really are a national laughing stock. Rhule picked the wrong QB and it will cost us the season.

We are losing by 22 points. Sims shouldn't have even been in there.

Well, we will likely lose by multiple scores.

We looked like a total joke in the first half. If the rest of the game is like this, we will still be a national laughing stock. Rhule totally screwed up the QB situation.

I knew chasing Thompson out of town was dumb.

We basically fumbled on the same play again.

We aren't winning unless they get turnovers.

Do we ever win games like this? I'm half way tempted to turn it off. Another botched series.

This typically isn't the type of game we win. We'll need some turnovers by the D to get the W.
