I get that we are in a tougher part of the schedule, but I don't get how the offense could be THAT much worse compared to the beginning of the season. Both Grant and Palmer looked like they were going to have special seasons at one point. Palmer looked like he was going to set NE WR records by a mile and now probably won't break a 1000. We can't run for positive yards anymore up the middle. Even if Thompson hadn't gotten injured, it feels like we'd maybe have just one more win.

I live in Iowa and the Hawkeyes have one of the worst fan bases out there. I'd love nothing more than Nebraska beating them, but this game screams a one score loss and a similar point total to this Wisconsin game. I have zero confidence in this team winning.

He deserved to be fired, but I think Scott Frost would have managed the QB injury situation better than Whipple and Joseph.

Almost everybody, but the coaches knew Smothers was the better play over Purdy. This loss is squarely on Joseph and Whipple. Joseph needs to have a backbone and not let Whipple get away with everything.

Smothers played better in the Iowa game last year than anything I've seen Purdy in. Purdy doesn't even look Division 1. They should have done a whole game plan around Smothers.

Purdy sucks. That's on Whipple and Mickey for playing him.
