  1. Wow. 5.1M views. Looks like SOS hit it out of the park with their NIL investment. Betting the ROI will be over the moon.
  2. Nebraska football’s final scores in 2021 didn‘t tell the whole story, and the ‘close’ narrative undersells the revamping that began last November. The 2021 Nebraska football team was not “close.” They were nowhere close to contending in a mediocre division, nor were they even that close to a bowl game. Yes, you can look at the individual games and see that eight of the nine losses were by 8 points or less. But let’s broaden our scope to the big picture. In the big picture, the 2021 Huskers were not “close” to anything positive. ..... Dave Feit: The Fallacy of ‘Close’
  3. Surface Perennial Ryegrass Good to have options though.
  4. Forget there was a scrimmage today. Sweet catch by Fr. Janiran Bonner and a nice throw too. I don't think I ever noticed the outdoor practice field is natural grass which is interesting since the stadium is Field Turf.
  5. That's about what I pay for Dish but way more content. Hope someday to be able to take advantage of it.
  6. I took it as it being a fairly serious injury since he referred it to HCSF who seems to control all the injury reports himself. Callahan mentioned in his podcast Crawford was hurt in the Saturday scrimmage. MJ sounded more frustrated about Manning missing practices.
  7. Yeah, but without access to high speed internet service streaming anything really isn't an option for me.
  8. Hope so. Without access to broadband internet streaming it hit or miss for me depending on the time of day.
  9. I hoping that this doesn't become a common practice. I've become accustomed watching all the games on the networks or B1G Network. Haven't had to listen to a game on the radio/internet in decades but I grew up listening to them all so I guess it won't kill me.
  10. Badger related post & Nebr. kid I saw posted by SSO. Not sure if he's incredibly brave or incredibly stupid.
  11. I know. I was just amused how everything regarding this program / personnel get put under a microscope then commented on. That comes with the territory. If nobody cared or paid attention we'd be Kansas.
  12. First we have no opening statement at media days. Now we have a 47 y.o. man who's put on a little weight which is unheard of, especially in our society.. Shocking, simply shocking.
  13. Unfortunately, now they just pull up the record for the last 7 seasons and show it to us.
  14. They need to come out against NW, blow them out of the game in the first half (1st quarter would be better) and then keep their foot down the second half. It would go a long way in stoking some fan enthusiasm. Heaven forbid they loss to NW. The stadium would be like a morgue for UND & Georgia So.
  15. Yeah, if history means anything we actually have had one win each against Purdue & Minn under HCSF. No wins against Wis. & Iowa. 2-13 facing those four is downright embarrassing.
  16. In schedule order. Better make the best of the first half of the season IMHO. #9 @ Northwestern #10 North Dakota #12 Georgia Southern #4 Oklahoma #11 Indiana #7 @ Rutgers #2 @ Purdue #7 Illinois #3 Minnesota #1 @ Michigan #5 Wisconsin #6 @ Iowa
  17. 2023 Recruiting and the Nebraska in-state class
  18. Not very encouraging to hear this. Fifty years ago it was somewhat the norm for many players to report to camp out of shape hence you had two-a-days to whip them into better shape ASAP. But in this day and age of close to 365 football and working on the play book from day 1 the coaches can't be thrilled to see this.
  19. I was going to post the same thing. The entire world hates us and it out to get us! Woe is me, woe is me. /s
  20. A good way to have taken care of that problem would have been not to act so "childish and jerkish on the sidelines".
