  1. I could say either, or, as there are no guarantees Parker comes, let alone Assante. Who knows? Parker may fall in love with KU. But I cannot imagine KU having a wow factor like TCU. I could see how Jordan preferred the metropolitan area of Ft Worth versus Lincoln, and the winter weather is better. Some kids rather have that.
  2. Greg Smith said he is in the process of finding out if Nebraska’s coaching staff are stopping by today. He said he would pick TCU right now, but it’s very close and quite a big battle.
  3. I hope a couple of the coaches are there in the morning.
  4. I wonder if the coaches plan one more visit tomorrow morning before he makes his decision.
  5. I hope he prefers Chin’s D over TCU’s. It might depend if he prefers rushing the passer vs not much at TCU.
  6. According to a reply back to Husker Corner, Jordan tweeted “no doubt” when asked if his visit to Lincoln increased Nebraska’s chance of him committing to the Corn. While there are no guarantees, we appeared to have made up ground if TCU was leading.
  7. Hopefully all has changed from his weekend visit in Lincoln.
  8. I have to respect this young man. He is thinking ahead by wanting a communication degree from a very good school, and realizes that playing in the NFL may never happen. This I can see this as the deciding factor. As for fit, it wouldn’t surprise me if he thought both schools are equaly a great with that.
  9. Gotch you. For now on my title will be “Not Leaving — Katerian Legrone.” Now, come on, tell me your thoughts are on this WR. I want to read them. Edit: Well dang, I can’t edit the title. Now the whole board will be mad at me.
  10. Hopefully you both are joking. I was talking about his athletic talent mainly. Why not express your thoughts on what this young man could potentially bring to our offense next season. I like to read them. Again if you are being humorous, cool.
  11. Hey Mavric, I posted a new topic — Josh Wegener — accidentally I believe in the 2019 profiles. Can you so please move it to the general Recruiting Board.

    Thanks.

This is such a weird board feature. It's like a stage whisper.

  12. Here is perhaps our big bodied WR, who redshirted last season. Looking at his HC highlights, he is very athletic — elusive and fast enough, even though he may not be a burner. Someone posted in his profile thread that he ran a a 4.6 electronic 40 time. I believe he is about 6’3 and 235 pounds. He can also leap up above DBs to make tough catches. This is one, among other newcomers, to watch this spring.
  13. This is the most intriguing walk on. He should be considered in the 2019 recruiting class since he received an academic scholarship — 4.0 GPA — and most likely would had received an athletic one under any other circumstance. One service rated him the number one Juco center! He makes up for the Desmond Bland lost.
  14. With our conditioning program, I can see him getting his 40-yard dash time down to 3.9 and vertical jump 100 feet. Now getting serious, I can see him indeed gaining another 10 pounds of strength and keeping all his quickness and speed. This kid is tough — I believe he was the team’s leading tackler and is not afraid to throw a block.
  15. I heard Gerry DiNardo say in an interview about a month ago that Wisconsin’s recruiting this year is about as good as it ever will be. Nebraska, he thinks, has a much higher upside, and can make it sometimes in the top 10. Interesting.
  16. This would have been a nice get, but I was more down when it appeared we lost Wandale.
  17. I can see how some recruits would see Chip’s vision more because of his success at Oregon. But he seems to have a much longer way to go at UCLA than Frost does at Nebraska. No worries. Houston appears to be very good.
  18. What I especially like about this is it seems that Frost may be ahead of the game when it comes to finding unknowns with great potential that end up being rated high 3s or 4s. Yes, I realize we won’t get this kid or Asante, but as Frost develops long term relationships with these type of prospects in the future and is the first to offer, it should pay high dividends.
