  1. How do you explain last nights' game??? We need height to help us to rebound and/or learn how to rebound. We cannot survive going up and down the floor jacking up shots!!! Exhibit A last nights' game Going against a SouthernGoing against a Southern lineup that top to bottom wasn’t all that much bigger, the Huskers were outrebounded 54-28. lineup that top to bottom wasn’t all that much bigger, the Huskers were outrebounded 54-28.
  2. Great Point! This current OHIO U team would be our current NEBRASKA Team!
  3. I disagree it is not 1985 anymore! UC-Riverside had a 7'1" guy on their roster. You need height on you're roster! You have to be able to play more than one style of basketball. What happens if your shots aren't falling? Like in the first two games? A Losses? You have to be able rebound. A TALLER PERSON has a better chance of getting a rebound over a shorter person UNLESS you can out jump that person! GET IT???
  4. I guess I don't understand Hoiberg's style of offense? Why wouldn't he want bigger and taller guys to get more rebounds? More rebounds equal more opportunities to score/shots. Can you help me understand Hoiberg/ someone not thinking this way?
  5. Now that Hoiberg is here, Can we finally get a Big Man! Somebody over 6'9"! I don't understand why its so hard for Division 1 basketball school like Nebraska to find a big man. Seems like other schools that aren't basketball powers like Nebraska can find them!
  6. If it was a secret scrimmage how is the press reporting the stats from the game, or how is NU allowed to report/give them out? I thought this was against NCAA rules? Is that the purpose of a secret scrimmage not to report the stats? Just wandering anybody know?
  7. No. At least you backed up your position with facts. I give you your props

  9. Never said they were. Just because they are both on different planets. That doesn't mean either one is one the right one. What logic course did you take? Or did you take one?
  10. You pretty much summed it UP,!
  11. Chunk plays ARE NOT A WINNING RECIPE FOR SUCCESS . That's FROST'S PROBLEM
  12. I agree. I see now why some players left with his "MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY ATTITUDE"
  13. You are a major Big Ten University and you can't have a back up kicker. I don't blame Punter Armstrong for nothing!. You let a kid from your own city Lincoln Northeast walk on at Northwestern 2 years ago. Frost comes across as hard headed ,"My way or the highway " that attitude doesn't work with this generation. You can't even get a SNAP OFF in time. What are you doing all spring?
  14. Frost is supposed to be this offensive guru. Starting to see why some of last year's players ,quote " Didn't buy in" terrible play calling. We have no smash mouth running backs that can lower their head and run straight ahead. They all left. Worst play calling I have seen in years. Where was J.D. Spielman??
  15. Agree, Hoiberg, very intriguing he's probably still getting paid a lot of money from the Chicago Bulls , so that may save us some money. His wife is from Lincoln, a midwestern guy for sure after coaching at Iowa State. I don't see Altman coaching against Creighton(even if for one game)or recruiting against them all year. Just my thoughts.
  16. Maybe there is more than not "just buying into the plan"as to why three players have left? Could it be Frost's stubbornness or inflexabilty???
