    The #1 seed has never won the CFP National Championship.

    The #1 seed is now 0-3 

    The #4 seed has won 2 NAT Championships

    The #2 seed has won 3 NAT Championships

    Ohio state is the only team to win the CFP National Championship game wearing their home Uniforms.

      2014- Loss to #4 Ohio State in the semi

      2016- Loss to #2 Clemson in the Championship

      2018-Loss to #2 Clemson in the Championship

       

      Alabama won:

      2015- ranked #2 defeated #1 Clemson

      2017- ranked #4 defeated #3 Georgia

      But, but, but there are only 2 teams that can win the NC, the #1 and #2 seeds, so no reason to expand the CFP.

      Based off of this evidence once the CFP final rankings are put out the #2 seed and #4 seed automatically play for the Championship.
