  1. Funny Story, Tulsi Gabbard ran on the Democratic Ticket as a Presidential Nomination Also, Mike Pence and other Republicans weren't the acting Secretary Of State (a position that has the highest security clearance in all of Government, yes higher than the president) Funny how all partys dodge truth for the purpose of party positioning. Republicans stand against abortion but are pro capital punishment. Dems are pro abortion but anti capital punishment. Both result in death of an individual and that's factual. I'm anti-abortion and anti-capital punishment. Those two agenda's are reasons I am independent. (Can't Server 2 masters)
  2. Gotta find ways to generate more ad money.. Big Business you know!!
  3. You are blinded by your motive and unwilling to accept a truth.. sure he destroyed pictures... now please answer me this mr. democrat sympathist... why isn't Hillary Clinton in JAIL??? She did the same... She Destroyed Evidence and yet you will stand at a podium and scream about justice and how it's not blind all while keeping a blind eye when true justice stands firmly against your political beliefs. You're blinded by this narrative of fairness you have even when you know it's far from fair. I'm done posting with this rant and pissing contest. I know an unfair justice system when I see it. Believe what you must. Let the Blind lead the Blind.
  4. Give it a break ZRod... you're so blinded by your politics... Hilary destroyed phones, computers and servers... yet you want to incarcerate a low level sailor for taking photos of his work station... smh
  5. You are so wrong in "every" conceptional reasoning you put forth. The law was clearly broken and in Biden's case the documents were stored in a garage of all places. The two tier justice system is alive and well regardless of the media talking points and protectors of the Democrat agendas. Another HUGE example is the Hillary Clinton server that was unsecured and storing thousands of documents. Documents that cost lives mind you when individuals we placed in official position of rival governments. (Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Algeria, and who knows where it ended).. Yet the media and the hardline democrats said nothing, did nothing and turned a blind eye. and to just further exemplify the two tiers of justice: (I could post several others but this one is especially close to my heart as I'm a former squid) Sailor Jailed for Photos To say a two tier justice system does not exist is simply a lie and everyone knows it. It protects the clintons, the bidens and yes, republicans too when it must. (Pence is an example of that.) So tired of party line voting. Either start 2 more party's (ultra left & ultra right) or get rid of party's altogether and vote commonsense but for Pete's sake, stop voting party lines. I am independent for just that reason. I support policies that are Christian based. I'm anti-abortion, anti-capital punishment, anti-big government. I support a flat tax system, term limits (that include age limits to judges) and a military that stays local. Stop policing the world and bring our troops home. Stop sticking our noses in other countries business when it's clear we don't belong in the fight. Focus on jobs, manufacturing, border control and neighborly growth through both manufacture sharing and open trade. Grow our neighbors economies as a part of Making America Great.. America is South/Central/North. This country and it's politician's need to focus on "all of America" and let other nations focus equally in their vicinities without US interference. There is one person in congress on both sides whom have said this and I'd support either of them. (On the right Rand Paul and on the left Tulsi Gabbard)
  6. Your missing the biggest misconception... neither Pence or Bidden, by constitutional law were authorized to have those documents period. "If" you, me or anyone outside of the elites had taken and stored documents with those labels/restrictions they'd be imprisoned. Trump, being a president is allowed to declassify and remove. So.. to state that which you stated is accepting a two tier justice system. Pence and Bidden should be prosecuted to the "FULL" extent of the law and should be expected to defend themselves in the courts just a Trump is.
  7. Exactly, not a bad seat in the house... Baseball in a perfect setting always trumps any other sport. Outdoors, Peanuts, 7th inning stretch, the long ball, the missed call, the swing batter swing, high and tight, double steal, the hit and run and that damn popup bunt that drops and makes everyone shake their heads... Baseball Baby!!!
  8. I like Sears getting the start on Friday. He's an experienced starter that wasn't used last year in that position. I understand Walsh getting to start too with his gas and slider. Caleb surprises me as I expected Christo to get a shot. Maybe Bolt/Childress want Christo as the mid week starter and long relief. Still, if Christo's control has improved and his change really is a useful pitch I wonder how good Walsh and Clark must be throwing right now. Clark to me is the biggest surprise, let's hope it's a good surprise. He's a lefty (like Walsh) so I like that and he flat has juice with movement. Can't walk batters though so Sunday is a good spot for now. Sears should top mid 90's and throws a slurve/change as an out pitch. Right Handed location pitcher. We need a go to Friday starter so honestly, I think it will be trial by fire.
  9. Haymarket Park really is an awesome diamond. Best in the B1G and top 10 college parks. Now add in a few brewski's and well... could get even better!! Add in a section of seats on both sides and maybe a small grandstand behind the center field decor and then sell, sell, sell the seats!! Keep the grass seating too for the little ones that like running around.
  10. I am one who agrees with the majority here. Regardless, can we just move past putting 75 yo men/women into the presidential seat. For Heavens sake we are a country of 350 million and we can't find better candidates to lead our nation??? Reuters Link to Double Standards Poll
  11. The large money contracts are what has driven me away from Professional sports as a whole. The only positive in the MLB vs the NBA and especially the NFL is the huge difference in total number of felonies committed by MLB players vs the other two sports. Regardless, when will enough be enough? Link
  12. Last year, from the start, we couldn't close out or stop middle inning scoring. This team, to be as sound as we hope it to be, will need better middle relief pitching. Starters this weekend likely won't got past 75 pitches so the games should be won by the bullpens. If our middle relief has improved from last year we should have a good shot at winning 2 games. If our middle relief is as porous as it was last year we'll struggle all weekend. Gotta get outs from the mids!!
  13. Marriott won't be Baylor's friday guy as the season progresses but is likely who Nebraska will face.. Look for the redshirt freshman (forget his name) coming of surgery to challenge for that spot. Baylor is picked near the bottom in the conference so of the 3 games this weekend Baylor is one I expect us to win. The other 2... if we split I'm do the dance.
  14. 3 huge games, hoping for 2 (3's a dream) won't be surprised with only 1 Baylor is kind of an unknown. According to the media in Waco they are two deep across the board. Mound is solid but untested with loads of lefty's. They struggled some in 2023 so expect them to play hard here. Tech is a ranked opponent (#21).. loaded and lefty loaded on the mound. Two of the three starters are back including their Friday night starter. They'll bring the long ball. OU is OU.. pitching, situational hitting and running.. Friday starter will be new. Lost their biggest bat also. Here's hoping for at least 2 wins!! GBR
  15. At least I'm intelligent enough to know I'm an idiot Homer Simpson ftw!!!
  16. The pac 12 was bankrupt, I think it's safe to "assume" Oregon, with their sugar daddy, was the only school not in the red and honestly, those schools haven't any idea what is in store for them in the B1G!!
  17. As Sad as It Is but the Truth sometimes hurts and the 2024 election is nothing but pain.... I'm not the most intelligent person and maybe that's why this made me almost spit my dew out this morning...
  18. The B1G scheduling is just pure crap.. How can Iowa not play either Indiana or Maryland though they do have Michigan at home.. Still, such a soft B1G schedule. Indiana on the other hand is a solid schedule as is Nebraska's. Makes no sense how unbalanced B1G schedules are. Really is disgusting to say the least. Schedule Comparisons: (Iowa's is crap in the order of difficulty when compared to Indiana & Nebraska)
  19. Iowa for sure is the favorite. Loads of depth on the mound. However, they lost their best DH in years when Anthony's season ended. They also lose their 1st baseman who along with Anthony were the offensive leaders. Their strength is their defense. They return their Friday & Saturday starters and though they lost their best setup/bullpen pitcher they shouldn't be short on talent. One set back might be the loss of their catcher. (that's always unpredictable) Still, the schedule sets them up to have the best record in the conference (crap midweek schedule) but they have some huge conference games on the road (at Purdue/Ohio St/Nebraska). They are the favorite but likely "only" because they don't face either Indiana or Maryland until tourney play. Personally I see them as a paper tiger early but if that bullpen is as good as advertised they might push out 40+ wins. Indiana is less predictable as the talent on that roster is on the offensive side and weather can play a huge part in that. Their ACE is out for the 2024 season with injury, their top hitter/middle infielder is gone (drafted) and their next best bat/center fielder transferred. They had a huge recruiting year 2 years ago so the talent exists, it's just unproven. They'll either win 35+ or struggle to win 30.
  20. Article Link: Very Good Read into what the Huskers 2024 season looks like.
  21. Nebraska is more loaded in the arms this year with a higher variety of middle relief setup pitchers. Still need a proven closer but they have a couple arms capable of that. I think the power numbers will be equal to last year though they did lose 2 huge bats so maybe more base stealing this year. Defense should be strong though. Also we have an unproven infield might take a bit to work through. The non-conference schedule is going to be very challenging. I expect we'll come out of it 2 or 3 games above .500 but I think that schedule, coupled with a conference schedule that should set up for a shot at hosting a regional. To expect to have a shot at a super would mean going 5 or 6 games above .500 in the non-conference and that is a bit too much. New 1st base coach that while at WSU he was aggressive on the bases, we'll see soon enough if Bolt gives him the reigns to run. (Bolt, of the past, liked the hitters/long ball to advance) Expect to see more off speed stuff coming from the mound. Childress is known as a slider/change up coaching guru. He sets the out pitch up well with heat and location. I expect minimally a second place finish in the conference. Iowa and Indiana (esp Indiana) have loaded teams. Maryland, though they lost a HUGE arm from last year will returns 2 of their 3 starters. B1G conference baseball is better than outside perceptions and honestly, I expect the B1G to put 5-6 teams in the post season. (Nebraska/Iowa/Indiana/Maryland/Rutgers/Ohio St).
  22. Nissan Hard Body Truck. 208K, sold it to a co-worker who gave it to his son. I saw the son 2 years later (approximately) and asked him if he was still driving the truck, he said 220K and still going strong. On a side note: When I sold it there wasn't a speck of rust on it. Hard Body Truck
  23. Umm.. I do think BTN has a say too.. They do carry the games after all.
