I know nothing about grass outside of how to mow it and to follow a fertilizer schedule almost religiously to ensure weedless green grass. Couple questions. First, how long does it take for grass field like these to root in before it can be practiced on. (I know the fields are mixed with synthetic grass and that helps with wear & tear) Secondly, how well will the grass practice fields hold up this fall? Man will they look dope once complete though.

I predict Nebraska gets a favorable opponent schedule. My 9 team schedule guess. Hope others will post their guess also!! The Power Matchups: Money Maker Matchups (2) either USC or UCLA for sure but not both. either tOSU or PSU for sure. Because Conference Opponents: Regional reward for having to travel to both coasts. I wonder how many of the posters that say "we" need to be aggressive with the NIL are actual contributors to it. How many actually have skin in the game in the form of $.$$ contributed? I'd bet the number is low.

I would agree it's laughable but for one thing, it's very apparent that many fans in the B1G want us gone. Does that correlate to B1G faculty and admins... who knows but when prominent, albeit useless, former players now in large media positions call for it, well..... makes me wonder enough that I do think Rhule's task is bigger than we as fans might think. Hope not but in this crazy day and age who knows what's really happening behind the curtains.

Careful now @CyHawk the truth hurts and most on here don't like it when it's spoken. As for the fans, we are well aware of the lack of success in the men's programs and know how little the Men's programs have contributed. Mostly because of their own demise but a biased against us also exists. (Scheduling and Officiating) As a Hawkeye fan you should know better than most because it was Iowa for years getting the shaft on horrendous officiating. (The holding calls, my gosh the holding calls) It used to be that going into any B1G Ten Iowa football game a fan knew they'd have a penalty at a crucial time. Unsure why that was but even as an outsider watching I knew it was happening. The B1G is likely considering giving the Huskers the boot (something I've not heard) but the B1G also knows the impact that would have on fan contributions via pay sites so yes, you may be right. The husker administration may have heard these rumors and it might be why they constantly talk about their commitment to and loyalty to the B1G Ten. I, like you, think Rhule is Nebraska's last chance. Start contributing or get the boot. I mean for Pete's sake.. they haven't even managed to be bowl eligible in how many years now? Horrendous!!!

Good, hope so... Want to be respected, be the threat to other respected teams. Be as physical, as fast, as hard nosed and win. Sure tOSU might be the victor more often but the rising from the ashes and winning happens only when there is a belief in I can. It's time to start believing in "I Can".
