Won the series, Showed what team is clearly the best in the conference by sweeping every series but 1. Gave the committee reason to ponder rewarding us with a traveling 1 seed. Ensured a top 20 finish. Incredible Season for our boys and coaches in Red!! Thank you to all but especially the SENIORS!! CONGRATULATIONS to Bolt & Company. They EARNED IT!!!!

Both Bun, Schwelly could go tomorrow if needed. Bolt & company want the series win but Bolt won't burn arms. Pitch count on starters and keep arms fresh in the bullpen. That said, I believe if the good guys are up by 2 or less in the 9th tomorrow Schwelly will be used.

This is a big series this weekend for nebraska. if we win this series there's a chance (small change) of us getting a 1 seed in a remote regional. That would be a reward for staying focus and winning the big10.

In this case... this is a one year thing. the ncaa did it this way this year as to give 20 locations time to implement personal protective measures into place. I'm ok with that and I think most everyone is as well. did it cost us a regional, no, we costs us a regional when we looked forward instead of looking at the opponent that day. still and regardless.. this is a Great Season and one we the fans should remember. thru all the covid nightmare our boys played well enough to earn a conference championship and be considered for a possible remote regional 1 seed. That reason enough for me to celebrate and celebrate I will.

Oh, I am believe me I am. I'm enjoying it to the last pitch of the season wherever that is. I also believe that weekend egg did in fact create a re-focused and I think the 2 game sweep of Rutgers on the road was the evidence. I also think we are peaking at the right time. I'm extremely excited for the post season and drinking all the koolaid I can.

So.. the B1G has a website where they employ journalists that well.... report on the happenings around the B1G. I log into the website to read a congrats article to Nebraska for winning the baseball championship and to my disappointment (though no surprise) there is a 4 sentence.. yep, you heard me, 4 sentence article. Sadly, had we not laid 3 eggs against rutgers we'd be a regional host and ranked likely in the top 12 somewhere but that's behind us and the boys have come to play each weekend since. Win the Michigan series and there remains a chance of being a 1 seed in a remote city. Gotta keep the faith and ride the wave. GBR!!!!

We won't be playing in Fayetteville to start. Maybe a super their but think about it.. First we will have played 43 conference games and currently having lost only 11.. That's a huge accomplishment Secondly, D1 has us there for the viewership. They know putting Nebraska in Fayetteville will draw views thereby lining their pockets. Thirdly, the ncaa is about $$$ and they know the biggest $$$ is a Nebraska team in the CWS and second would be a Nebraska vs Arkansas super regional. Lastly, the B1G is a power 5 conference and in that, does hold credibility. Especially with Michigan and Indiana's recent success. and finally; The 2nd seeds are also ranked and a Power 5 conference champion is not going to be the 32nd ranked team. (16 regional hosts, followed by 16 #2 seeds) Honestly, if the huskers win the Michigan series I fully expect them to be a 1 seed in one of the Big 12 regionals or even possibly the Gonzaga regional though they could award them the 1 seed in Pittsburg too.

wow.. just learned we've had only 12 home games... 28 road games... 12 home games to this point. WTH Indiana will have had 20 following Mondays home game. How can this be?

Not anymore to "out our advantage"... what do we have to gain vs lose? We don't need to throw a mid week game against a NW starter and burn up arms going into a weekend home series against the only currently ranked team in the B1G. If they want to make a game up.. grant us the same gains as they granted whisky.. a forfeit!!!!

radio announcers are also talking about the extra game. WTH is up with the Nebraska bias in this conference? Absolutely disgusting!! Disgusting to even speak about it on the B1G network. I'm really beginning to despise this conference.

I think "if" Nebraska does actually win (if is exactly that "IF") the title, @Nebraska55fan might have an aneurism "if" (and because of no professionalism) the B1G doesn't remove the "extra win" thereby accidentally showing a Michigan Championship due to the current record issue (Michigan showing 1 extra win (27 instead of 26)). Man, I know it's early but I read that and reread it. The post is saying what I want but its hard to comprehend written that way. Someone else needs to correct my ineptness and poke at @Nebraska55fan's ticker a little. Let's get his BP up. Seems when he's ranting we're winning!!!!
