    All on-side kickoff attempts, all two point conversions, and no more field goal attempts. Interesting, but not very efficient.

    Either one of these two are probably a stronger bet. However a blowout win vs Illinois with sharp play from AM would make a strong case for us.

    How to win... As Scott Frost said, we need to rely on big plays on offense from our speed players. With our poor offensive line play, we will not sustain many long drives.

    The way we played our first two games, winning one of those would be an accomplishment.

    Judging by our poor performance, 4-8 is more likely.

    Going from 4-8 to 4-8 to a poor start that could turn out to be 4-8 again is not moving the needle in the right way at all. The sound bites coming from the coaching staff are great, but they need to be followed with substantial improvement that fans and impartial observers can actually see.

    This is the type of thread often seen at the other site. Not football related, but it boosts page hits for advertising revenue.

    If we finish non-bowl eligible again, the answer is yes. Right now I would say that we are behind schedule, not in trouble.

    I am a masochist, I watch most all of our games.

    The truly sad thing is that no matter how much we lead by at the end of the half, the other coaching staff will adapt better and either make the game very close, and possibly even win on a late fourth quarter drive that we are powerless to stop.
