  1. Hope this man wins some well deserved settlement money and the cops are punished in this case. Seems like the army lieutenant did everything correct and still got harassed. https://www.vice.com/amp/en/article/y3dm3m/cops-caught-on-video-holding-a-black-army-lieutenant-at-gunpoint-then-pepper-spraying-him?__twitter_impression=true
  2. https://jabberwocking.com/anti-black-hate-crimes-have-plummeted-in-the-us/ Raw Data: Anti-Black Hate Crimes Have Plummeted in the US “I have been accused—rightfully—of constantly telling you that things are better than you think. The reason is simple: Whenever I look into something, it very often turns out to be better than the media focus would have us believe. It wasn't my intention to find yet another example when I dug up these numbers, but I'm not really surprised any longer when that's the way it turns out.”
  3. Thanks for the discussion and the links. I still don’t believe we were in a red of paying that okey at that time, but my opinion could very well could be wrong. Moving on to the next item that comes up.
  4. Thx for the link. I get what they are saying, but the whole article and the last one is basically a “take out word for it” article in regards to that the Haugue arbiters were just about to award $4 billion to Iran after 35 years of dispute. And if that’s indeed the actual case, Iranian negotiators would also have known this so why settle for less than half that amount? Seems like $3 billion would have been a bare minimum point for a negotiator worth a darn if those points in the article were correct.
  5. All the private claims had been resolved each way and after 40 years why did the Obama administration all of sudden think the arbitrators were gonna say give Iran 10 billion? “All told, Tehran was asking The Hague arbitrators (comprising equal numbers of U.S., Iranian and neutral judges) for $10 billion. Fearing they might actually be awarded that much, or something like it, the Obama administration negotiated privately with Tehran, which agreed to settle for $1.7 billion. The $400 million stacked on pallets was the first installment.”
  6. Not Floyd related but BLM related news. Maybe the people running the organization aspect of Black Lives Matter are turning it into a grift.
  7. Thanks for the link. Sanctions are Definitely way different than seizing. It’s an unfortunate consequence of having a rogue regimen in charge of a nation. Innocent people eventually suffer. Hopefully they rise up and revolt against their leaders.
  8. Because we didn’t really need to give them that money at that time especially considering who controls the country. We wouldn’t give the seized assets of a mafia crime family back to them 40 yrs later if they promised to go legit.
  9. My guess is KState will be the biggest worry out of any 500 mile radius school.
  10. I fully understand where the money originated.
  11. We seize United States criminals property and cash too. We also freeze the bank accounts of overseas criminals. I’m sure those criminals hate us too. Could you help me understand how we are seizing the food and medicine of Iranian citizens? I haven’t heard that before. Thanks in advance.
  12. This kind of stuff that seems to happen often doesn’t help. https://www.mediaite.com/news/racist-graffiti-at-albion-college-was-written-by-black-student-police-say/
  13. What? BigRedBuster 25,351 Posted 9 hours ago What is the Republican proposal to change immigration laws to allow those people in legally?
  14. I didn’t think so as you really provided nothing to it. Just kept asking me what policies were presented lately over and over.
  15. Equating Ron DeSantis to Matt Gaetz won’t work out well for you. Mr. Goalposts might even post a goalpost emoji as a reply to you.
  16. Sure just ignore the tweets from the Democrats that were ACTUALLY involved in the situation. Conveniently I guess
  17. It’s Sad to see those false narratives make headlines given so many prominent Democrats defend DeSantis and contemporary emails show a well done vaccine rollout for the citizens of Florida. What are ya gonna do I guess. It is the media trying to tear a potential Republican 2024 Presidential candidate after all. I mean those debunked stories along with the 60 minutes fiasco really shreds the media credibility
  18. Look around and find out as it seems you are very interested.
  19. Ok Goalposts. Keep those blinders on. Previously I have stated I’m on board with the wall and other security measures, adding more BPO’s, adding judges to adjudicate cases faster, allow people who have proven to have been here a period of time (5 yrs? 10yrs?) with no legal history outside of a minor misdemeanor to be considered a permanent resident. Why don’t you type that into a bill format for me and if I ever run for Congress I will submit it so you are appeased. And yes Biden has been much worse on the Border in his brief time as President.
  20. Hey Mr. Goalpost. I told him it was a good question. I don’t have that answer and he knows he can look up the information in the same way I could. He doesn’t need me to answer it. My question also pertains to the discussion because Dems are in total control so what’s the likelihood that in today’s partisan atmosphere that they would pass a Republican proposal.
  21. I’m sure there is a proposal or ideas from some Republicans in Congress. I just don’t know what they are at the moment or how practical they are at further solving the problem.
  22. Hey there Mr. Goalpost. Adding more insight to the topic again I see.
