  1. Kids can’t get Covid shots so there’s that.
  2. If you want to create your own little vaccine passport so you can show the Walmart greeter before entering, have at it.
  3. Voter ID and vaccines really have nothing to do with each other.
  4. How many times have you proven that you are vaccinated for measles in order to go into a store?
  5. He be stumbling, bumbling, rumbling. Chris Berman would have a field day describing China Joe’s TV appearances.
  6. https://apple.news/AdOc6jxowRGyRGBXvhSxrog In a study of about 4,000 health-care personnel, police, firefighters and other essential workers, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that the vaccines reduced the risk of infection by 80 percent after one shot. Protection increased to 90 percent following the second dose. The timeframe of this Phase IV open label study would cover some mutations with Florida being included. FL was already having the UK strain as the predominant strain I believe as of a few weeks ago.
  7. Well, I know where they are getting their Covid numbers as they match up with a highly respectable source. If you want to verify then go ahead. Enjoy researching something and learning a few things along the way.
  8. What are you even talking about? Gas tax is a cents per gallon excise tax. You pay the same amount for every gallon you use. You drive more you pay more, because you use the infrastructure more. It’s a tax in the same vein as sales tax where everyone pays the same rate regardless on income. Unfortunately unlike the sales tax where low income people don’t pay as much as high income people overall because they don’t purchase as much goods or services. Gas tax, many low income people drive as much or more than higher income people out of necessity, but are paying the same tax amount both per gallon and overall which constitutes much more of their disposable income.
  9. Why else would you be disputing the numbers?
  10. No, your just upset those numbers don’t fit your narrative about what Texas should do.
  11. Ok. I will wait for your Texas numbers that dispute what was posted since you are so up in arms about it.
  12. So you don’t have any other numbers to share? kk
  13. the gas tax is one of the most regressive taxes. Combine the increase in gas prices with a gas tax or mileage tax and that stimulus is right out the window on increased transportation costs.
  14. If you would like to dispute the numbers then throw your source on the board when you whine about the DailyMail numbers.
  15. There is no victory dance. Just stating what the facts are up to this point.
  16. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9410481/Texas-COVID-numbers-fall-17th-consecutive-day-following-reopening.html Texas' COVID numbers fall for the 17th consecutive day following Gov. Abbott's 100% reopening of the state and lifting of the mask mandate - a move that Biden infamously called 'Neanderthal thinking'
  17. Democrats control Executive and Both Senate and House. What are they waiting for?
  18. Florida has been open for quite some time and is in the bottom half of deaths per million by state while having the second oldest population in the US. Statistically speaking, FL should be near the top of deaths per 100,000 because of who the virus targets for severe symptoms. Texas seems to be doing well so far post Neanderthal thinking opening and is currently right at average for deaths per 100,000 by state. States in the Northeast have been expanding their reopening but those states didn’t seem to get Dr. Gupta’s attention. Could be that he has a political narrative to make.
  19. Driving under the influence is illegal whether or not you kill or maim someone. So no that is not my logic even if you do want your “muh freedom” to drive s#!t faced.
  20. Yep and People who are not Biden supporters in general should be willing and able to give Biden administration credit for building on that initial success and getting us to where we are. Herd immunity through vaccine was projected back in December by Azar to be reached sometime between Easter and beginning of summer. Looks like we might be able to hit that mark.
