  1. Not sure how we will ever replace that level of production. I get that people want to make a mountain of these two transfers, but if you get worked up over poor production like that leaving, then more power to you. Neither will be missed. I am 100% we will have a backup QB do better than 1 TD to 6 INT's and a backup WR do better than 5 catches for 40 yards. #truth vs Dady tweets.
  2. Strongly disagree. McCaffrey - was given the chance to take over the QB job and was horrible. Wandale - the second highest used WR in the country. He didn't leave on his own, it wasn't his choice. Farniok - undersized and would never become a starter. Warner - had all of the chances in the world to become a main target and got beat out. His dad can say whatever he wants on Twitter, it will never chane the truth about Warner's ability as a Big Ten WR.
  3. Avante will probably become a very good player and make it to the NFL. I can see the same thing with Bretz. I'm personally higher on Bretz than Avante, but that is mostly due to Bretz having the bigger frame.
  4. Fisher isn't getting an interview at UGA. They hiring the guy from West Virginia.
  5. Do we need to repost games of Warner dropping passes or never getting separation since he was too slow? Or McCaffrey turning the ball over 1 every 17 touches for average? The guys were not good players. McCaffrey can run fast, but that is it.
  6. McCaffrey was so bad, but a good atheltic runner, that he averaged a turnover every 17 times he touched the ball regardless if it was passing, catching, or running. Yes, once every 17 touches he turned the ball over. get over what the last name is and look at the actual results on the field. same s#!t with Warner.....the guy couldn't even catch wide open passes in the endzone for touchdowns. Wandale is the only guy that should make you to ""%^&*" for transferring and even for him it wasn'st up to him.
  7. Cool. And when their kiddos go to a new school and suck it up you going to say they were still right and everyone else was wrong? Or you going to go back and delete your post and act like it was never written?
  8. One son can't throw a football and the other son can't catch a football. Maybe the dads are the ones that failed.
  9. Maybe he should have tweeted at his own son to catch the fricken football in the end zone when wide open.
  10. It was always a given one of the QB's would transfer out. QB's rarely ever stay and wait anymore, even at places like UGA.
  11. He will have a great career, IMO. Loved his high school film. trolling
  12. Meh, he was being over dramatic. The only departure since the end of the season that sucks so far has been Wandale. McCaffrey has himelf brainwashed thinking he is a QB.
  13. Oregon or Nebraska would be a good choice either way. MN never made sense the entire time.
  14. Highly doubt that. Look at his recent twitter follows. That isn't someone signing with Minnesota.
  15. The kid is making a terrible choice thinking he is a QB. He is a terrific athlete that needs the ball at WR. SMH.....such good talent that will go to waste.
  16. Listened to Frost tonight. Pretty obvious is a "get best talent we can with the last 2 spots."
  17. Meh, a lot of those players in the portal are in there because they never were able to see the fied or if they did just a few snaps and it is there way to try and get one last ditch effort to play some action in a game at a different school. Can't expect there to be a Miller and Martin in the portal that are willing to walkon.
  18. Staff seems not to be interested after taking a look. Townley out of MN seems to be the guy they want to get with Avante to finish out with 25 new class members.
  19. Per Purdue's Rival site, looks like William Inge, Fresno State DC, might be there new DC. They were 85th in total D this past season. Purdue had a higher ranked D with the D guy that they fired when the season was done. Seems like a downgrade, not an upgrade.
  20. So......for 2021 rosters. Wisconsin has had 2 players transfer out. Their starting QB that got hurt and the backup RB. Neither is going to be impactful from a starting perspective, but it hurts their depth if injuries happen. IL has had 12 players involved in the portal - exiting or incoming. They had a fullback that transferred in from MSU. That right there tells you the offense their new head coach will run. They had a RB transfer in that has had about 600 yards in 4 seasons. 5 WR's have entered the portal with zero incoming. One could argue that IL has had a net negative out of the portal.....more talent lost than gained. IA six players entered the portal. None of them big names. They had a safety from the FCS level transfer in. Seems like there really wasn't a net gain or net loss. MN - they have had 5 players enter the transfer portal. The incoming WR, while highly rated out of high school, didn't do anything at A&M during his time there so you don't know if he will produce or not at MN. They have had 4 LOS players transfer in, which is telling since it points out they lack depth at the LOS and aren't confident with what they have on the roster. NW 8 players entered the transfer portal. An unusual number for them. One would have to be concerned about the skill spots next season since 2 that left were RB's and 2 WR's with 1 WR that transferred in. Purdue - 3 players entered the portal. None of the transfers in are attention worthy. Iowa's safety and Nebraska's incoming transfers seem to be, so far, the only impact new additions to the 2021 rosters from the portal. NW probably got hit the hardest.
  21. I wouldn't know. I just know he left for home via social media before the season was done.
  22. james sylvester. would replace a name on the roster that isn't expected to be back on Monday for workouts....Butler?
